Astronomical Clock Prague - The Orloj
The clock first installed in the 1400’s is the third-oldest astronomical clock and oldest clock still operating. It tells the time, date, position of Sun, Moon and has been non-operational only twice in the long history.. It also has a 35 seconds show every hour for its viewers. A fun watch..

The viewing spot at the Port Campbell National Park provides a spectacular view of the Apostles standing tall over the Southern Ocean as far as you can see..
The Twelve Apostles, at the Port Campbell National Park, is a collection of limestone stacks off the shore. These apostles were formed by erosion: the harsh and extreme weather conditions from the Southern Ocean gradually eroded the soft limestone to form caves in the cliffs, further modified to arches, which in turn collapsed; leaving rock stacks up to 50 meters high. Besides them, they are surrounded by cliffs of around 70 meters high... It is known that as of today only 8 of them are standing while others have fallen down.

The view is indeed another spectacle of Nature.

Indeed a Once in a Lifetime Experience

Some moments in our lives are simply unforgettable. For me, it was my visit to watch Penguin Parade. Photography not allowed there and so here is a link where you can watch - what I have eye-witnessed..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFkWfsUHtJw&feature=youtu.be

After a mesmerizing journey on the coast of Pacific, you arrive at Penguin Parade, Philip Island. You get to see here the smallest Penguins of the World in their natural habitat returning to their homes. The flocks head out for fishing during the day and as night falls, it's time for them to return home. The site of 1000's of Penguins coming out of the ocean with their silvery slimy bodies, walking on their legs (dug dug.. dug dug) and approaching towards you, will simply leave you speechless. And as penguins come towards you and walk under the bridge that you are standing on, that moment you will feel and wish, the time just stops.

The organization has prepared 1000's of wooden burrows on the uphill to protect these little creatures from being eaten away.

Penguin Parade is indeed once in a lifetime experience. And if you are visiting Melbourne, Australia, it is a MUST.

As I feel grieved about the Australian Bush Fires, I would like to post that I was overwhelmed on my visit to Melbourne. Australians ways and their love for animal species conservation have left me impressed. One such tribute is to the Koala species facing dangers of fires at the Moment.

On Philip Island, at the Koala Conservation Centre, one gets the chance to see these species from close. The Koala Conservation Centre is an ecotourism attraction and has played a key role in saving the population of koalas on Phillip Island as well as the natural bush surroundings There is now a special koala breeding program in place here, as conservation efforts ramp up to keep the population of these special creatures on the rise.

There are a few boardwalks in the Conservation Centre which allow you to have a different point to view the koalas at. Unlike a zoo, the koalas here live in the wild, making their homes in eucalypt forests and the surrounding wetlands. There are also plenty of other animals to spot here like wallabies, possums, echidnas, and snakes.

See this little creature climbing up the narrow twigs to fetch the leaves for his food.

It was really hard for me to believe an infrastructure, a modification of an entire village at that scale into something that will make India top the chart in terms of not only the tallest statue of the world but also the highest number of visitors visiting the statue in a year's time. But certainly 'Statue of Unity' project by the government should indeed make every Indian proud.
A must visit place when you are planning either your trip in India or visiting India from abroad.
Did you know the statue of unity is entirely made of iron with a bronze coating. Due to a natural aging process the statue will turn into green colour over a period of 100 years. With the height of 182 meters, it’s the world’s largest statue, earthquake resistant, built in 3.5 years, with excellent views around the Narmada dam and river island, offers a history museum, food court and many adventure sports in and around the town of Kevadia, Gujarat.
Must visit..

Wishing all of you a great year 2020

Palace of Versailles: Symbol of Power and Beauty. Few symbols of France can match the magnificence that is Versailles. 8.2 km² big with a total number of 2,153 windows, 1,200 fireplaces, 700 rooms, over 67 staircases. Interesting to view as much as it reads.
The palace normally attracts a lot of visitors throughout the year. If you do not buy a priority pass ticket, be prepared to stand in a long queue which can call for waiting lines of almost 2-3 hours just to get in. In Summers, on a sunny day, don't forget to carry ur sunglasses, umbrella and apply sunscreen, as the heat is not bearable. An easy tip, if you would like to avoid the queues, be there early before 8 AM.
After crossing this biggest hurdle of queueing up, the view of the Palace would not disappoint you at all.
Plan an entire day for the visit to the Palace and enjoy its beauty along with its gardens.

Berlin is indeed known for its world-famous Berlin Wall which divided the city into East Berlin and West Berlin. The fall of the Berlin Wall has been a historic event. On the 30th anniversary this year of the fall of the wall, the artists have done an amazing job depicting this story through a light show during the famous 'Festival of Lights' in Berlin this October 2019. Here is a glimpse of the story of the fall of the wall depicted on the famous Brandenburg Gate with the light show.

Isha foundation is a NGO in south of India. It is known for inner engineering, yoga, meditation, and practical & logical talks by its thought leader Sadhguru. The foundation has been attracting millions of volunteers around the globe since years who are in search of their true self. Situated in the lap of nature and surrounded by mountains it’s a perfect place away from chaos of world.

Recognized as the world's largest bust sculpture by the Guinness World Records, the face of Adiyogi is 112 feet high, representing the 112 ways he offered for one to attain to wellbeing and one's Ultimate nature. It was indeed an eternal bliss to look at Adiyogi standing tall facing the earth.

The Louvre is the biggest museum in the world. The museum is an Epitome of Art, Culture, and History around the world and is a must-visit when you are in Paris. 🤩
The museum offers 380,000 pieces in total – but not all of the collection is exhibited to the public. The Louvre’s galleries are displayed across 652,300 square feet – which is nearly 15 acres. So be prepared to walk a lot if you wish to make most of your visit. 😄

Don't be scared as you read this..... The museum is also thought to be haunted by a mummy called Belphegor. The nearby Tulleries Gardens are also believed to be haunted by a man dressed in red. Spooky!😱

If you wish to visit and want to know more, just drop in a message.

Once in Paris, there is indeed lots to see. In fact, did you know Paris has some 130 museums?
Montmartre: a small town is known for its artistic history, the white-domed Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur on its summit, and as a nightclub district. You can take a walking guided tour of the uphill town and listen to enormous interesting stories about the town.
The night view of the city of Paris offers some spectacular views. Do climb up the Montparnasse Tower to watch this awesome view.

At the height of 324 meters, a 360-degree view of the Paris city is a must experience when you visit Eiffel tower.
Firstly the ride to the summit in the lift is an adventure, be prepared for lots of butterflies in the stomach.. ☺️
And then the view from the top is just mesmerizing. 🤩Say cheers to the travel celebration with a glass of champagne at the Champagne bar at 324 meters height. 🥂

Who does not know this beautiful monument? But seeing it in front of you standing tall was simply a wow experience..
Did you also know: The tower is 324 meters (1050 feet) in height, weighs about 10,100 tonnes, made completely of iron and was tallest man-made structure in the world for 41 years.
It is indeed possible to climb the summit of the tower with the stairs (just 1665 steps to the top) and also by lift. The experience in lifts one with a slant (of about 45 degrees) and another one with a steep climb is just adventurous and boosts adrenaline rush.
Did you also know during cold weathers tower shrinks by about 6 inches.🧐
The tower is re-painted every 7 years and it requires 60 tonnes of paint. 🙃
The tower sways around 6-7 cms (2-3 inches) in the wind... Interesting! That's why I could feel like a swing at the top of the tower 😜

When in Lucerne, don’t forget to climb one of the watch towers and walk on the top the wall connecting 9 towers for best panoramic views of the city. A walk in happening old town is also worth the time 😊

Cruising on Luke Lucerne simply leaves you speechless. A beautiful lake surrounded by beautiful small village towns, mountains and green spread all around. And when you look down, it's a spectacular view to see across the water as water is soo clean. The water of Lake Lucerne has been discovered to be 'Too Clean' for fish.
I was amazed to see how such a vast lake can be maintained soo clean.

At a height of 1798 mts above sea level, reaching Mount Rigi was definitely an adrenaline rush as this was our first-time experience traveling in a railway on steep slopes. As we started our journey, the lush green slopes with soft gentle sounds of cowbells and a gentle gush of wind just made our ascend to the Mount Rigi very mesmerizing. The whole route was 'WOW'.
At the top, the 360-degree views are simply breathtaking. The view of the Swiss Alps, the lakes, the green grass fields made the experience a feast by Nature.
The taste of Indian Theplas (Palak theplas with sev and tomato ketchup😋) at the top, viewing the Alps made this experience a celebration. 😜😄
If you would like to know more about which route you should follow up and back to Mount Rigi, drop me a message.

While you are in Switzerland as a tourist, you have many beautiful landscapes to visit, but if you are landing in Zurich, it's worthwhile to spend half a day in this beautiful city of Zurich. I will recommend visiting it through Lake Zurich. Take a ferry ride in Lake Zurich (Limmat river cruise) and see the famous Paradeplatz, Fraumuenster, Lindenhof, Grossmuenster, Niederdorf and hidden places in Zurich as you sail in the clean bluish-green water.
The ferry ride ends in Zurichhorn, which is very beautiful and a big public park offering places for tourists and locals for some water sports, boating, swimming, sunbath, relaxing in nature. Zurichhorn also has a very big open theatre at the shores of the lake.
Alternatively, to hear the great stories behind the old town Zurich, and the famous monuments, opt-in for a short old town, free guided tour.
