So much happening this weekend in Uphill Lincoln we don't know where to start.

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 Deember sees the Lincoln Ice Adventure with ice sculptures and live carvings. Children can find the hidden clues to help Santa find part of his sleigh that has gone missing. Free event guide availabe at the Visitor Centre.

There will be lots of outdoor musical entertainment including the Lincoln Rock Choir, City of Lincoln Brass Band and the Lincoln Ukele Band to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

You'll find lots of great Christmas gift ideas in the wonderful independent shops in Uphill Lincoln as well as a Craft and Gift Fair at the The Lincoln County Assembly Rooms (Thursday to Sunday), an Artisan Market in Lincoln Cathedral (Friday and Saturday) and Lincoln Lincoln Makers' Market will be in Castle Square car park along with a traditional carousel on Saturday and Sunday.

Enjoy a glass of gluhwein on Castle Square with Lincoln FFN.

Lincoln Castle Illuminated is a magical Christmas event which includes a chance to walk the wall walk in the evening.

Over at Lincoln Cathedral admission is half price for the weekend and events include choir concerts, a festive family day on Saturday, carol services at 5.30pm on Friday and Saturday and a Medieval Nativity Play on Sunday at 6pm.

All of this set against a wonderful histori backdrop of Uphill Lincoln with the twinkling Christmas lights.
