Saudi Arabia is the country where most Nepali workers go. He was initially allowed to fly two days a week. According to the Commerce Department of the Corporation, flights will be operated from Kathmandu on Tuesdays and Fridays every year. There will be flights from Riyadh to Kathmandu on Wednesday and Saturday. According to a director of the corporation, an Airbus A330 widebody with a capacity of 274 seats or an Airbus A320 narrowbody with a capacity of 158 will be flown according to the passenger pressure.
The corporation was allowed to operate two-way flights to the three cities of Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam by the Saudi Civil Aviation Office last February. Himalayan Airlines, which was earlier established in Nepal in partnership with Yeti Airlines with Chinese investment, has been flying with narrowbody aircraft in Dammam and Riyadh. The air service agreement signed between Nepal and Saudi Arabia seven years ago has given the two countries the right to carry up to 5600 seats a year.
