Kelingking beach has one of the most dramatic coastlines we have ever seen. Hundreds of people visit this scenic lookout at the top of the cliff, much fewer take the trek down the cliff side to the beautiful secluded beach below. Even our tour guide had never taken the trail to the beach below. Good thing Courtney and I were very persuasive 😎

Why visit Bali? It has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world! 🏝Diamond beach sits at the base of a massive cliff. To reach it, you must scale down a narrow path carved into the rocky wall! Sometimes the best places on earth require a little bravery and adventure to reach ⛰

🌊To see Kyle sit so comfortable on the edge of the cliff makes me realize I found someone just as crazy as I am😂 So thankful for my wild one.🤙🏼•

🌿Well that was cool
No matter how many experiences you capture, there will always be ones that you don’t. As we travel we have an idea of all of the pictures we’d like to get and all of the places we’d like to visit, and it never pans out perfectly. It feels strange to be living such a dream and still feel a yearning (and disappointment) towards those experiences that you just don’t have time for. Tonight we have our minds fixed on correcting our perspectives!

Thank you to everyone that helped to support our fundraising efforts towards Soy Niña! Yesterday we were able to meet with several of the young girls to play games, laugh, and enjoy a sense of community in a broken place. The area these young girls live is extremely dangerous and impoverished. Many of their families are prostitutes and drug dealers. The neighborhood we visited is broken into districts, which increase in danger the deeper you travel. At district 5-7 emergency personnel will not even attempt to respond to emergencies. We traveled into district 4 and spent some time playing games with these young girls and walking several of them home through the alley ways of their neighborhood. Outbound Abroad is excited to seek more opportunities to give back to Soy Niña and other organizations like it along our travels. The donations and t-shirt sales from everyone will go an incredibly long way to help these girl grow and find opportunities to lead them towards a better life.
