Kelingking beach has one of the most dramatic coastlines we have ever seen. Hundreds of people visit this scenic lookout at the top of the cliff, much fewer take the trek down the cliff side to the beautiful secluded beach below. Even our tour guide had never taken the trail to the beach below. Good thing Courtney and I were very persuasive 😎

Why visit Bali? It has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world! 🏝Diamond beach sits at the base of a massive cliff. To reach it, you must scale down a narrow path carved into the rocky wall! Sometimes the best places on earth require a little bravery and adventure to reach ⛰

🌊To see Kyle sit so comfortable on the edge of the cliff makes me realize I found someone just as crazy as I am😂 So thankful for my wild one.🤙🏼•

🌿Well that was cool
No matter how many experiences you capture, there will always be ones that you don’t. As we travel we have an idea of all of the pictures we’d like to get and all of the places we’d like to visit, and it never pans out perfectly. It feels strange to be living such a dream and still feel a yearning (and disappointment) towards those experiences that you just don’t have time for. Tonight we have our minds fixed on correcting our perspectives!

Thank you to everyone that helped to support our fundraising efforts towards Soy Niña! Yesterday we were able to meet with several of the young girls to play games, laugh, and enjoy a sense of community in a broken place. The area these young girls live is extremely dangerous and impoverished. Many of their families are prostitutes and drug dealers. The neighborhood we visited is broken into districts, which increase in danger the deeper you travel. At district 5-7 emergency personnel will not even attempt to respond to emergencies. We traveled into district 4 and spent some time playing games with these young girls and walking several of them home through the alley ways of their neighborhood. Outbound Abroad is excited to seek more opportunities to give back to Soy Niña and other organizations like it along our travels. The donations and t-shirt sales from everyone will go an incredibly long way to help these girl grow and find opportunities to lead them towards a better life.

Outbound Abroad is very proud to announce our trip to Costa Rica this December! We are a growing travel business dedicated to enriching the lives of travel lovers with motivation to explore, content to captivate, and adventures to inspire your inner free spirit! Our trip is designed to showcase the beauty of Costa Rica and the incredible adventure opportunities around every corner. We are committed to giving back to the communities we reach through our trips and are excited to partner with Soy Niña in an effort to empower young women from low income areas in Costa Rica.

34 Costa Rican girls age 12-17 have a child every day. 60% of Costa Rican girls have their first sexual relation before reaching the age of 15, often with men much older and in non consensual relationships.

Outbound Abroad hopes to help decrease this number by helping Soy Niña, an organization designed around providing STEM education and empowering programs to these young women, through financial donations.

While in Costa Rica we will be visiting with Soy Niña to present our donation and hopefully connect with some of the young ladies we hope to help.

Empowering these young women opens the doorway to a meaningful life they may have never known existed otherwise. It provides education and motivation to learn and grow and enriches the lives of these women as well as the local economy. Through our donation we hope to help young women find a new pathway to a future they may have thought was unattainable previously.

Outbound Abroad is incredibly excited to give back to Costa Rica and plans to do the same for each location we visit in the future, but we can’t do it alone. We want to reach out to our followers and provide an opportunity for you too to help these young women in need. All of the money raised through the go fund me found below will be delivered to Soy Niña during our trip this December. Every dollar raised helps these young women in ways many of us take for granted daily.
