📍 Location: Amazon Rainforest, Rio Urubu, 200km from Manaus, Brazil 🇧🇷

Living deep in the Amazon means sharing our space with some fascinating wildlife. One of our most awe-inspiring visitors? The green anaconda, one of the largest snakes in the world! This particular one, stretching over 4 meters long, was spotted near our camp—a powerful reminder of the incredible biodiversity that thrives here.

Green anacondas are semi-aquatic predators, often found cooling off in the water or patiently waiting for their next meal—usually consisting of rodents, birds, and sometimes larger prey. Despite their massive size, they move silently through the rivers and undergrowth, making them elusive yet fascinating creatures to encounter.

Seeing one up close is a true Amazon experience—one that highlights just how wild and wonderful this rainforest really is.
