A message from our CEO, Adam Gollance:

The murder of George Floyd on May 25th has had a significant impact on us. It has forced us to look at ourselves and society in a different way. It has brought me great sadness. I know that we do not have the answers but I do know it starts with acknowledgement and conversations. We, at Modus, started that conversation this week. We held our Thursday Town Hall with no agenda. Our colleagues expressed feelings, asked questions and listened. As a team who cares deeply for one another, this was an especially raw and unguarded conversation. And it is one that won’t stop. We are committed to continuing the conversation and effecting change in ourselves, our organization and our communities.

The doors to One Washington Circle Hotel, The Windsor Suites - Philadelphia and The Virginian Suites, Ascend Hotel Collection remain open and serve as a place for our community. We are here for you and are so grateful to our staff on property during this time.

It is with a heavy heart that we’ve made the decision to temporarily close Pod DC, Pod Philly, The River Inn, Hotel Hive and Avenue Suites, Washington DC during this time. We look forward to welcoming you back when the time is right.

One of our core values at Modus Hotels is to “serve others” – this includes our guests, colleagues and our community. These days, this value is at the forefront of our minds, as we address the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact. As safety and health remain our highest priorities, we are taking additional measures to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous.

We also understand things are changing quickly, so our cancellation policy is becoming even more flexible. Any reservation (including non-refundable) booked between today and April 30, with stay dates between now and April 30, can be changed or canceled at no charge up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival.
