So you may remember a reel where I said Hollywood Studios has the best holiday decorations and we were all thinking the same thing: Where was Gertie?!

No worries, friends! A queen gets her own post - thems the rules! 👏🏻

It all started with a sweatshirt from and grew from there. I LOVE that has started coming out with official Gertie merch because she truly deserves it! This is my new emotional support water cup.

Did you know she is the OG of animation?! We owe it all to her and we honor her!

Next time you're in Disney's Hollywood Studios be sure to say hello to our dino queen, maybe buy an ice cream from her and thank her for being her! 🫶🏻✨️

Tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets go on sale July 2 for guests staying at select Disney Resorts, Swan and Dolphin resorts, and Shades of Green. On sale for everyone else July 10.

Hours for this party: 7pm to 12am

The amount if excitement I have for this one trip!!! 🤩

We have so many fun things we want to do, but we will also be relaxing as much as possible. Lots of luxuriating (if you know, you know).

When you see Disney planning tips and it says to "keep your must-do list manageable" this is exactly what we mean. That way everyone is likely to get what they want AND anything extra is even better! Prioritize, then have even MORE fun!

I hope you're ready to follow along and figure out where we're staying because guess what....my husband doesn't even know. 😉✨️

You wanna talk about a BANGER?! This underrated restaurant located in Magic Kingdom is seriously worth it. There are A LOT of places to eat in the park, but I've found they are either one note when it comes to food or expensive.

This is neither of those things.

Skipper Canteen I guarantee you have walked past a million times - located at basically the entrance to Adventureland. Serving a variety of dishes and they have plenty of "dirty river water" to serve you. 😅

The servers are Skippers and there is no shortage on puns. The restaurant is broken up into different dining areas showcasing easter eggs from the Jungle Cruise attraction, the SEA (Society of Adventurers and Explorers), as well as famous imagineers. Seriously there is so much to look at!

If you're going to take a break on your Magic Kingdom day, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

I know they all can’t be my favorite, but this restaurant is special to me!

I have eaten here 3 times, 2/3 times we were celebrating a birthday and the staff made it so special! 🥹

🍔 Obviously the highlight is that burger at lunch but many of the dishes offered are amazing as well.

🍳 Breakfast is also very good and offers a unique variety for a reasonable cost.

The only meal I haven’t tried is dinner - that has a more traditional steakhouse menu and the price point is a bit higher.

IT’S FLOWER & GARDEN DAY!

If you couldn’t tell, this is my favorite festival.

Flower & Garden is Spring vibes and snacks and it is just perfection in my eyes.

💐 Food options are bright and cheery, typically lots of plant based options. Dishes that also contain florals, fruits, honey, etc.
🌷 Beautiful topiaries around the park, seriously take time to look at them!
🐝 Find Spike the Bee around World Showcase and earn a scavenger hunt prize!
🪴 Little bits of extra color in the greenery around Epcot.
🦋 A walk-through butterfly garden, channel your inner flower and see if one lands on you.
🍊 Don’t forget Orange Bird! It’s his time to shine!

There is so much that I enjoy about this festival - it really is calming and puts you in the Spring mood!

Talking about an absolute FAVORITE here! 👏🏻

🍕That’s right - we’re talking PIZZA!

My favorite things about this restaurant:

🍝 It is a family favorite, I can even get my picky kids to eat here
🍕 The pizza ovens can be seen within the restaurant - so fun to watch!
🥖Some of the friendliest staff we’ve ever had
🧀 Everything we have tried has been incredible
🍨 Plenty of food, but it doesn’t make you feel sick

Ok I have held off long enough.

This restaurant is the definition of Y’ALL. Amazing food, great atmosphere, incredible staff. We have been here 4 times and it has never disappointed.

This is for the Southern comfort food lovers. You’ll get your fried chicken, homemade sides, unique appetizers that all feel like your grandma made ‘em.

For brunch they have some options like fried chicken and French toast, doughnuts, shrimp and grits. See the My Disney Experience app to see when Brunch is available.

This is also our favorite part of Disney Springs! Located across from Morimoto Asia, just before you get to Gideon’s Bakehouse and Joffrey’s Coffee.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for comfort food without a park reservation.

It’s been a while since I’ve done an introduction and explained what exactly I do around here!

If you’re new here - hello! I am working on a fun “get to know me” one as well so be on the lookout! 👀

This post is all about my job! Well, my other day job! 😜

I am a Walt Disney World Specialist - a travel agent if you will - but I focus completely on the Walt Disney World Resort!

I can book year or more out, within 30 days (availability willing), couples, single humans, families, large groups, and anyone who wants to take a magical vacation!

Can I book DVC? No, but if you’re not a Passholder I can book your tickets, special events and dining!
Can I book Passholders? I can absolutely book your rooms and dining for you!

Do I “take over” your trip? Absolutely not! This is YOUR vacation. I just take the pieces and create something wonderful!

I got into this business for one reason: to bring families to Disney and have them NOT leave disappointed. I feel like with all the changes (some good and some not so great) people get overwhelmed easily and it is very easily to spend a LOT of money and not get what you want out of it.

That breaks my heart more than it should. I have heard negative comments from guests in the parks. I’ve seen families fight and come out absolutely defeated.

My TOP 5 ✨favorite✨ WDW rides:

5 - Flight of Passage. When I rode this for the first time I was 🤯 but it’s a newish ride and I couldn’t bump an old favorite for it. The sights, the smells and the freaking Banshee breathing. Amazing.

4 - Haunted Mansion. Just a classic. The quotable pre-show, the wallpaper, the song! Now it has Hatbox Ghost?! Iconic. 😘

3 - Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain (tm). I have loved this ride since it opened. I actually remember when the Yeti worked. I will never get tired of this coaster and I think it’s one of the best thrills in WDW. 👏🏻

2 - Tower of Terror. Oh, you mean the love of my life? She is beauty, she is grace. She is frozen in time and I am here for it. The story is so intriguing and the ride mechanic and unique and just amazing. ⚡️

1 - Pirates of the Caribbean. Fun fact, I have always wanted to be a pirate. This ride has all the Disney memories and nostalgia for me. I’ve ridden it on both coasts and it CANNOT be best. The smell of that water alone. The quotes, the cannons that hate me so much, Captain Redd, the dog with the keys (that I have to tell every time I ride what a good boy he is). Phenomenal. 🏴‍☠️

One of my love languages is ‘Ohana noodles.

I’m starting a new series called: Should You Eat?

I will explain a dining location, its price and menu and my own thoughts about how “worth it” it is.

Starting with a personal favorite of mine: ‘Ohana.

We love this dinner option so much we have been 3 times, it is our once a year December tradition. The atmosphere is so peaceful, they have a ukulele player serenading you, and you’re at one of the prettiest resorts on property (in my opinion). 😍

Please, please, please STOP. It's hard to show my face in a Disney park sometimes. Am I making this up for content? Nope. Do I have witnesses? Yes. Does he do this a lot to me? Also yes. He likes to catch me off guard too, sometimes it's as the Skyliner is pulling into EPCOT, or on the back half of a crowded bus, even in line where CMs can hear him. 😖 I married a jokester. What can I say? 😅 He knows better - but would you believe some people don't?! The things that are overheard in the parks my goodness. I've literally seen kiddos wearing wizard robes (though i suspet thats a "not having that argument" situation). 🫣 What is the craziest thing you've overheard at a park? I think we all need a laugh this first Monday of JULY! 😱

I need to know who is getting through this show without a single tear?! You're either overwhelmed with emotion, Or you're just so stupid tired from your park day, Maybe you just realized how much this all cost... ...my personal favorite, you remembered you gotta fight this whole crowd to leave the park. 🥲 ‼️ No but seriously DON'T leave when fireworks are over. That's just silly. You should either shuffle off to the side and take refuge on Main Street. Shop, grab a snack, take pictures, etc. Lately Magic Kingdom has closed up to an hour and a half after fireworks, go ride something! Also you do NOT have to stand on Main Street to watch this show. 🎆 They are viewable from the Contemporary (theme park view room, California Grill reservation, or simply walking to the lookout) 🎆 They can be seen from the Grand Floridian Beach or boat dock 🎆 They can be seen from the Polynesian beach (where this video is from) 🎆 You can also see them anywhere in the park as long as you are facing the general direction of either the castle or Tomorrowland. You can even see them from a ride if you time it well! Listen. The Disney purist in me and the "what else can they do?" me argue about this a lot. I know we love having original ideas and themes and not everything has to be based on a newer movie... But a Coco ride would be awesome. The music, the updated animatronics, seeing alebrijes in all the surrounding screens. Entering the spirit world once you pass the restaurant. A girl can dream. If nothing else (because Epcot has been through enough) can we have a random return of Plant Donald? It's an unintentional favorite and I think you know the people need to see it. I won't lie to you and say we've only done it once. Something about the early morning, the park is still mostly quiet. The lines are starting to form for the day. I don't know it just feels so calming. LISTEN. If you're going to MK for the first time or you are with people that prioritize bigger rides then please focus your Rope Drop on this. It's been 95 days. Still have another 36 to go! The drama is real and I'm not sorry about it.
