I just canceled our trip that was supposed to start tomorrow. It dawned on me at 11:58p that I never canceled it, and while I realize I probably didn’t need to actually click the button, mentally I did. This was supposed to be Heidi’s first trip. It was supposed to be my most exciting trip (as a mom) for my almost 3yo. Those magical memories are unparalleled at that age! It was supposed to be my first trip in a good while to actually go ON the roller coasters with Cam & Aaron, since I was pregnant on our last trip! I had been meticulously planning this trip for longer than I care to admit. Just know, planning trips gives me excitement and hope. Disney World misses all of us too. And it’s going to be there with some awfully big, white gloved hands to embrace us on our return. Here’s to hoping we see ya real soon! 😭😭😭

This is a very busy couple of weeks for my hobby I like to call work 😆. On this VERY snowy morning, I was warmed up with this photo. I’m not joking when I say I love multi-gen trips. This family spans 3 states and has 10 grandchildren! Talk about a fun way to spend time together. Have a MAGICAL trip B family!

And the only thing better than spending time at Disney World with your friends is spending time at Disney World with MORE friends! This group has been long awaiting this trip and it’s a dream come true, mostly for mom, but I think the kids are pretty excited too! It’s going to be a great week! Wishing pounds of pixie dust to you all!

I’ve been a little busy this week (all in the name of research of course!) but I can’t miss welcoming my childhood BFF and her family! The only thing better than being at Disney World is being able to spend time WITH your friends at Disney World!

When you come to Disney in the summer, you get creative. The Dumbo play area is part of the queue for the Dumbo ride but it is heavily air conditioned and they will let you stay and play as long as you want! Lots of seating for parents and kids can stretch their legs if they’ve been standing in line or riding in the stroller.

I think I have been counting down for the K Family’s WDW trip just as much as they have! This family so deserves some quality family time before the hustle and bustle of school and sports season begins. Enjoy soaking in the last of the summer sun at the best pool on the property and be sure to say hi to the mouse for me! And thank you for trusting me with your vacation! 😘

This might be the most random post you will ever see from me but I can’t help it. These garbage bags smell just like the ocean scene 🌊 in Soarin’ at EPCOT. Even Carl agreed so I know I’m only as crazy as he is. If that’s a scent you love- get these “unscented” 🤨🤔 garbage bags!!

*side note: much appreciation to my clients who are being so understanding with my current state of lack of internet due to our move last weekend. This may be one of the most frustrating experiences for two work from home people! We are slated to be in full working order on Monday 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

One of the most common questions I get is, what is the best age to take my kids? My answer: ALL AGES! Each age has something special about it. That then gets followed up with “but I want them to remember it!” My answer: good luck! 🤪😂😆 I didn’t go until I was a teenager and I still don’t remember it all! When you take your little kids, it’s for YOUR memories! And with that, I give you Grant who turns 1 next week. His reaction makes all of it worthwhile! Garden Grill Restaurant

Our next trip is fast approaching so I’m going to be polling all my followers on some questions, mostly for fun, but I will do what you say!! For reference, my boys are 7 and 5 (and 1 but he won’t count for this question!)

I don’t mind Tower of Terror (the unpredictable elevator drop ride), but the creepy hotel part and spooky vibe leading up to the ride is NOT my thing. We’ve never taken them on it, but we plan on having them do anything where the meet the height requirement. Do I suck it up and put on a brave face for them, or let Carl do that one...because Grant needs his mom 🤪

You’ve got a date night at Disney. Do you go to:
1. Cali Grill- you’ve been there before but last time had a stowaway so you didn’t get to fully enjoy the drink and sushi menu. Get a beautiful view of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom.

2. Artist Point- try somewhere new which is always good for clients! Be able to stay right within our resort, so no traveling to another resort.

Carl usually lets me make all our plans, so I’m deferring to all my TBM fans!
