Courtyard Titusville Kennedy Space Center is a great place to stay pre or post cruise. The hotel is space themed and offers large rooms with plenty of amenities for an enjoyable stay. You can "stargaze" using the 👩‍🚀 projector in your room, borrow a telescope 🔭 or a bicycle 🚲, take a dip in the pool 🏊‍♀️, and if your lucky you'll catch a rocket 🚀 launch from the rooftop lounge.

The hotel is close to Kennedy Space Center, the Police Hall of Fame, and the Warbird Air Museum. Or take in one of the many nature parks for wildlife sightings 🐊🦅🐬.

Grab a rental car 🚗 from the airport or cruise port and go explore. Don't forget your visitor toll pass!

A new Perfect Day is on the way 🏖️

I spent a few days this week on a quick road trip to Grapevine, Dallas, and Fort Worth Texas. Come along on a picture review of the stops I made.

🥪 Lunch at Magnolia Table in Waco where the biscuits and butter flight are worth filling up on.

🛏️ Stayed at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine so you don't have to. I've been to this property a few times and while the rooms are clean, this is the first time I can say it's ready for an update. As is the water park area. They are doing some renovations to public spaces so hopefully more updates are in the works.

🐂 State of Texas Fair is full of sights, sounds, and smells. The birthing barn was a hit. There were so many good choices I couldn't even decide and left not getting anything. If you go, study the choices ahead of time, and visit the coupon kiosks early as the lines build fast.

🦕 Perot Museum of Nature and Science is a really nice museum full of discovery for all ages.

🔮 Meow Wolf Grapevine is an immersive interactive art scape experience. It's one of those places you want to see but can't quite put your finger on what it's all about.

🚂 I'm just a girl who likes trains, so when I read that Union Pacific Big Boy #4041 would be on display at the Fort Worth T&P Station I knew I had to get up there. Being in the presence of this massive locomotive shining so bright on the tracks was a really cool experience.

🧁 Silos Baking Co. in Waco. One more stop in the area on the way home for some to-go treats. Stocked up on cookies and cupcakes for days to come. Bonus- each October there is a "Silobration" on the grounds of Magnolia with food trucks, vendors, live music, and family friendly games.

There is so much to do in the Dallas- Fort Worth area, and one of my favorite places in Texas is Grapevine especially at Christmastime. 10/10 recommend.

Today we celebrate Grandparent's Day 👵🏻👴🏻; the folks at the root of our family trees. Today we celebrate family traditions and creating new memories 🫶🏻.

Often times I hear parents and grandparents say they're waiting for the kids to get a little older to experience different trips and adventures. Life comes at your fast, and creating new memories doesn't need to wait. New adventures at every stage are what makes memories, and even if the kids don't remember every moment of a trip together, the pictures 📸 and stories 📔 will last beyond a lifetime.
