The Reedy Race of Champions started out many years ago as Mike Reedy's vision to showcase the world’s best drivers in a format unlike any other ever used in RC racing. It has since grown to be one of the most anticipated and prestigious R/C races in the world. The Touring Car and Off-Road Race of Champions events are revered across the globe, and now Reedy and the British Radio Car Association are
proud to announce that the inaugural Reedy International 1/12 Race of Champions will take place at theCentre:MK in Milton Keynes, UK January 15-17, 2016. Entries open September 15th at Noon GMT exclusively via www.britishradiocarassociation.co.uk/reedyentry Due to time constraints and to maintain the world-class nature of the event, total entries are capped at 70 for the Open class. To allow everyone an opportunity to be a part of the 2016 Reedy 1/12 Race of Champions, a draw for the Open class will be conducted, with those chosen securing a place in the event. One bottle of control tyre additive and a souvenir t-shirt is included with each confirmed and paid entry. Factory sponsored drivers (those whose travel arrangements are paid for by their sponsor and/or are paid a salary to race) are not eligible to compete in the Open class. The format and schedule for the event remains similar to that of other Reedy ROC Events for the invitational class, but the format for the open class will be somewhat different to usual. Open class entrants will also get the opportunity to race in a unique heads-up format, with the open class entrants being split into two categories based on the times set during practice;
LMP1 – Open Modified Invitational Class, Reedy Format
LMP2 – 10.5 Stock Class, Open Entry, Reedy Format, Top drivers from practice
LMP3 – 10.5 Stock Class, Open Entry, Reedy Format, Remaining drivers from practice

Saturday, Jan 16 Open & Invitational Racing
Sunday, Jan 17 Open & Invitational Racing
