This is to warn the public that a certain travel agency with business/Facebook name UpLife Travel and Tours with business address at Penaranda St., Barangay Baybay Norte (Poblacion), Miagao, Iloilo as per their social media page, was been maliciously using the DOT Accreditation of Parameter Boracay.
This came to our attention after several guests scammed by the said travel agency informed us that upon scanning the QR code of their DOT accreditation it redirected them to the website of the DOT showing the accreditation and business details of Parameter Boracay.
Parameter Boracay Travel and Tours Services was been complying both the licensing requirements of the LGU Malay and the guidelines set by the Department of Tourism even the company is in its infancy stage.
To put things straight, we are not in any way connected with the UpLife Travel and Tours. We encourage tourists and the public to be vigilant and deal only with legitimate travel agencies to avoid inconvenience in your vacation.
