Many of us have been looking for a viable option to help the people of Treasure Beach, Jamaica, many of whom have lost their roofs, and unlike in other countries, they will not have insurance to help pay for the repairs. This link was provided to me by a longtime personal and trusted friend from Treasure Beach. Anyone who donates should state that they wish their donation to go to assist the people of Treasure Beach to rebuild. Photographs and video are starting to make their way out into the news and onto social media and the damage is catastrophic. This astonishingly beautiful place and her lovely, hard working people have held a place in my heart for many years, they are the epitome of what “community” is and are so incredibly worthy of any generosity we can show them now. Any amount will help. Thank you.
The passage of Hurricane Beryl has left significant damage in its trail on the South Coast of Jamaica. Donations will support rebuilding and relief efforts in the Greater Treasure Beach area.
