Cathedral Rock -- North of Mbotyi on the Wild Coast of the Eastern Cape -- near here is Waterfall Bluff (sadly I "lost" a lot of my photos from this hike which we did a few years back). There are a number of options for accommodation in Mbotyi area where you can arrange a guided hike to view these spectacular rock formations & beautiful waterfalls. Stunning stretch of our coastline

🌤Our morning tour departs promptly from our Underberg offices at 7 am, allowing you to immerse yourself in the serene ambiance of the Sani Pass.
⏸Pause for a delightful breakfast with breathtaking views at a scenic spot to fuel up for the upcoming walk. Upon reaching the highest pub, savour the majestic rooftop panoramas.
👉Choose to unwind at the pub or embark on a picturesque "warm-up" stroll along the escarpment, elevating you to the clouds at 2874m above sea level.
👀Brace yourself for the descent down the Zigzagging hairpin bends from Lesotho’s Border Post.
🤠Our experienced guides will be right behind you in the vehicle, offering support.
🚶‍♂️Whether you opt to walk or relax during the descent, this approximately 2km journey to the last hairpin bend is both challenging and an unforgettable adventure.
🙃For the remainder of the descent, our Guide will collect you at the Last “ Hairpin Bend” for a Refreshment and a seamless journey back to the South African Border, Culminating in Underberg by Lunchtime"
