Captain Gooch lures, made by Clinton Brower, born in New Jersey August, 14th 1902. Brower Was in the Coast Guard through the late 40’s and stationed at Sandy Hook New Jersey. One story said that Brower would carve the lures and then sell them to fishermen on the beach during his patrols. (Info from article’s in the SWLCC library)
