Na Bali se letos koná další ročník surfového závodu Bali Big Wejf. Představí se tu česká a slovenská surfařská elita a vy můžete být u toho!

Bali Big Wejf je zároveň druhou zastávkou česko-slovenského poháru v surfingu 2023/2024 a také posledním nominačním závodem pro účast na ISA World Surfing Games v Portoriku, které budou posledním kvalifikačním závodem pro Olympijské hry v Paříži.

Závodí se v hlavních kategoriích Muži a Ženy, chybět však nebude ani kategorie Děti a dětská surfová akademie.

Sumampan Waterfall is located on the edge of a small village of the same name. The stones around him are decorated with stonemasons who continue to work on the river. With a hidden path on the hillside, you can walk up to them and see nearby how the stone is mined. 💦🌱

The waterfall offers great opportunities for swimming and swimming. So don’t forget your swimsuit! 🌴🌴

🦌 Stunning snorkeling and diving can be found around Menjangan Island in Northwest Bali National Park. On the island live wild deer, who come to you. Thanks to them, the island got its name. There are beautiful corals and many breathtaking underwater species in the water. 🐚🐠🦀

Menjangan organizes excursions from the nearby town of Pemuteran or from Plau, where you can watch dolphins from a boat at sea in the morning sunrise. 🐬🐬🐬

Air Panas Banjar Hot Spring 🛁 A small spa with hot springs in northern Bali. There are changing rooms, showers and lockers. The water is pleasantly warm but quite dirty. :)

🐚 Nusa Lembongan is a small quiet island next to Bali with long white beaches. You can get here by a fastboat from Sanur and the journey takes about half an hour.

The northern side of the island is occupied by mangroves, which you can take a boat with someone from the local. Nice is Mushroom bay, as well as Sunset and Dream beach. 🏝️

Worth visiting is also a larger side island with beautiful views from the cliffs of Nusa Penida or the tiny Nusa Ceningan with its Blue Lagoon, which is even connected to the Lembongan bridge. :)

🛕 Taman Soekasada Ujung (Ujung Water Palace or Sukasada Park) is located on the east coast. You can see tall cascading gardens overlooking beautiful panoramas, stone bridge and lots of small lakes, statues and fountains. :)

🏝️ Nusa Penida Island is located to the southeast of Bali. It is about an hour’s fastboat journey from Sanur or Padangbai. You will find famous beaches such as Kelingkin beach with a cliff in the shape of tyrannosaurus head or beautiful Diamond beach. But they are beaches rather than watching. 🐢🦀🐠

If you are a little experienced, it is worth renting a scooter on the spot and drive the whole island. The most famous places lead quite decent roads, but even so, there are broken sections in places where it is not easy to pass. In addition, roads are relatively narrow and you must avoid passing cars. If you want to see hidden beaches and beautiful views without people, be prepared that the roads will be really breakneck. 🐬🐬🐬

After stunning views, you can cross over to Nusa Lembongan Island and enjoy the long sandy beaches. ☀️

Besakih Temple 🛕 Temple with lots of towers and beautiful views of the surrounding nature and the sea on the horizon. It is next to the Agung volcano, which forms an impressive background in good weather. There are a lot of ceremonies every year, so there is a good chance that you will find one. :)

Sekumpul Waterfall 💦💚 In the middle of the hills of northern Bali is the largest of local waterfalls. You will be surrounded by green nature and the noise of all kinds of insects, mixed with the falling mass of water on steep rock walls. Access to the waterfall is possible from two places – main parking Sekumpul or village Lemukih. The way down to the waterfalls is quite long and difficult, but it is worth it. About twenty minutes from the parking place is the basic view of the waterfalls. From there you continue down the staircase for another twenty minutes down into the gorge, where you can also swim by the waterfalls. There must be a few rivers to wade down, and when the wind blows, you’re like after a shower, so the waterproof case is not a bad thing. :)
