Here is an update on where our business currently stands:

I went into this business (along with my "trusty steed", Prince) with the mindset that we wanted to help people plan vacations to spend time with their family... It was never about the money. I enjoy the cruise idea so much, that we decided to narrow our scope to cruises only-- aside from the bookings needed to make the cruise vacation successful.

We have shifted our business plans as of late... Prince was not for this idea, but since he only owns 49% of the company, he was overruled. But, any profits made from our business, we are going to turn it over to support worldwide missions.

I don't know how much will be made in this business, but whatever money is made above our operating expenses will be given directly to missions.

Here is a fun trivia question... Feel free to play along! I'm just killing time over here!

We know the Titanic was a passenger ship, but was also contracted as a mail carrying vessel, hence the reason why Titanic was called the "RMS Titanic"... Royal Mail Steamer.

However, there is one modern cruise line that has roots as being a shipping line... and still is, but is also a cruise line. Any ideas on which cruise line this is??

Who has ever seen a picture like this? It is a very commonly circulated picture... But does anyone know where this landscape can be found?

If you were to travel to Santorini, Greece, you would be able to see this view in person! But wait... There are cruises that will take you RIGHT TO Santorini! On Norwegian Cruise Lines (among other cruise lines), you can enjoy a fantastic Mediterranean Cruise with a stopover on this very island!

Soak in the rich culture Japan has to offer on a cruise around the country aboard Holland America's Noordam cruise ship!

While aboard the ship, you can enjoy the onboard shopping and entertainment the ship has to offer, as well as the incredible restaurants guests can choose from! While docked at the various ports in Japan, you can chose from many different Shore Excursions, such as touring the Atomic Bomb Museum or hopping aboard one of the Bullet Trains in Japan. Maybe I am a different breed, but I love the idea of traveling to the continent of Antarctica! There are not many cruises that go to Antarctica, but there are some out there that do! Some people might say, "I've been to Cozumel!"... Others might say, "I have been to Hawaii!"... But how many people can say, "I have been to Antarctica"?? Not many, that is for sure. This is on my bucket list, and I am sure there are others out there who would love to capture the postcard views of the Antarctic glaciers.

Raise your hand if you have ever heard of Estonia... It is a country, by the way! The capital city of Tallinn is said to be one the best preserved medieval cities in Europe AND it is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Estonia is situated in the northern portion of Europe, between Sweden and Russia. Pictures of the country are absolutely beautiful, and best of all, you can get cruises that stopover in Tallinn! How neat would it be to visit one one of the Baltic countries like Estonia... Best of all, you could tell all your friends you have been to a country that most people have never heard of! :) Cruises that stop in Tallinn are slightly harder to find, but not too difficult! If you are interested, just send me a message and I can help arrange this for you... Or any cruise you would like, for that matter!

This is definitely on my bucket list.

Good Sunday Evening!

It's a good thing we are going in to the winter season, because these cruise trainings are pretty in depth... and working a full time job, I only have limited time to study these courses. Rest assured, I hope to be up and rolling soon... But, patience is a virtue I must learn. I don't want to jump into this before I have the knowledge necessary. Thank you for your patience! As soon as I am ready, I will start boosting my page for others outside my circle of friends to see. Prince is really hoping for this thing to take off so he can buy that yacht he's always wanted.

I have done a lot of research in the past into Norwegian Cruise Line's different ships... But most people probably do not know this, so I wanted to share! How would you feel about being on a cruise ship that has a GO-CART TRACK?! The Norwegian Joy has just that! I think-- as far as amenities go-- Norwegian ranks right up there at the top!

Alright! My next cruise line to study on is Norwegian Cruise Lines! I have heard tremendous things about this cruise line, even before I started this business. I am excited to see what they have to offer! Honestly, they have some of the prettiest ships on the water, in my opinion!

It will take me a while to learn all these cruise lines, but I don't feel like it is good business to sell a product that I don't know how to book properly and research for the best prices. I feel like I need some time to learn the product before I start trying to sell it. In time, Prince and I will be a powerhouse of cruise knowledge! Well, mainly me... Prince is just here for the cookies.

Looks like Prince and his brother, Balto, were in Europe this week... So much for scouting out the cruise scene. He is certainly enjoying all the travel, while I sit at home and work.

Princess Cruise Lines has "Medallion Cruises"... It's pretty cool because you don't have to pay extra for it or be at a certain "status" to get it! All their ships (I believe) are MedallionClass ships, and the technology they employ is awesome!

I sure am learning a lot about the various cruise lines that I will be working with, and thus far, Princess Cruise Lines has to be my favorite! They seem to offer some incredible amenities. I am continuing to study up on the various cruise lines, how to book for them, and all that fun stuff!

I was looking at some stats today, and cruise vacations are among the most popular. It is said that 90% of people that take their first cruise will book subsequent cruises! I will be going on a Princess Cruise in the Spring (Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise), so I am excited to experience this for myself.

Cruising has some benefits that people really seem to enjoy...

#1- It is kind of a "package", so to speak. You hop on a cruise ship, sail to multiple ports and explore multiple places, all organized by the cruise line. It requires less planning, which is something that appeals to a lot of people.

#2- It is pretty cost effective! An 8-10 day cruise is often more affordable that flying somewhere and staying in a hotel for 8-10 days, on top of the food and activities you will pay for.

#3- There is so much to do ON the ship! The food is excellent, the activities are well planned, the entertainment is top notch. You really can't go wrong!

Cruises… Cruises is what we are going to specialize in! We knew we needed a niche, and this is it! This decision came shortly after Prince told me of all the places he has been… Quite impressive for a dog! Don’t believe me, the proof is in the pudding, folks. Pictures don’t lie! Our company’s 2nd-In-Command has been traveling the world on cruise ships, and this is going to be the direction our company is heading! That doesn’t mean we can’t help with other bookings, such as hotels!

We’re going to be learning all we can on the process of using the booking portals, so we don’t mess up your reservation! I’d hate to accidentally book your cruise quarters down in the engine room, so give me some time to learn the process. 🙂

There is a lot of learning for us before we jump out and started operating this business. We don't want to jump in with no knowledge and ruin anyones travel plans, so we are taking the long road in learning all we need to learn first. Once we get this completed, we will be set to go.

Again, for anyone that follows our page, this is not our income... Our bills do not get paid from this business. So, if you choose to use us to help you plan travel, you can know that we are not relying on any commissions to get us through the month-- This is purely for our own enjoyment and to compensate us for the time we invest in this venture.

Another thing I will mention-- which I am sure I will mention in future posts... The travel agency we are partnering with does not elevate prices in order to pay us, and we do not charge a separate fee. The actual travel companies (Hilton, American Airlines, etc) pays us a commission as travel agents since the company we work for brings them a large amount of business. So, I can't say this enough: You don't pay extra to utilize us to book your vacation. :) I am sure this is a concern for some (as it would be a concern for me, too).

If you can trust a Husky to plan your travel... Send us a message! Don't worry, I will be double checking his work. :)

Well Ladies and Gents, we are getting closer! I have signed the paperwork to form my LLC, set up business banking, and am in the process of onboarding with the travel agency. There is a lot I need to learn, so that will take a little time. On the other hand, Prince is just waiting for his dividends… He is contributing very little to this operation. 😂

Once I am ready to roll, we will invest in Facebook marketing ads and see where that takes us. We are excited! Please share this page and invite your friends. That would mean a great deal. 🙂
