Welcome to Two Loons Cottage!

As some of you may know, Andrew's family has cottaged on this lake for at least 90 years. He owned his own cottage here for many years himself and eventually sold it to his brother for a variety of reasons. He's always wanted to be back on the lake and this year, we were able to make that dream come true. We bought it from another long-term family and we are honoured that we now get to add to their lake memories. They left us many treasures.

We've spent this week of our holidays doing cottage owner things like changing the toilet, unplugging the drains, washing windows, cutting the grass and putting in the docks. We did get a few peaceful paddles done and each time, we encountered long-time cottagers who yelled to us "WELCOME HOME!" which made the decision all the more sweet. It seems that everyone knows Andrew!

We do plan to rent some of the time to help with the upkeep so if you know someone who would like a little peaceful place an hour+ north of Barrie, please send them our way.

We talked about naming our little slice of heaven and because this purchase was made quickly and some might say, crazily, we came up with the name Two Loons...because that's what we are! We hope you will all get to join us here over the years. ❤️
