I know what you're going to say.
"Perky! You haven't posted in over a YEAR, and your first return post is... another divination set by the people that brought us the marvelous Alleyman's Tarot, the number 1 funded tarot deck in Kickstarter history, both in money pledged AND number of backers?"
Yes. Yes it is.
(And to answer your other question; no, I'm not getting anything to post this glowing review of both The Alleyman's Tarot AND the Oracle Dice. I just really love them both.)
You see, I backed the Alleyman's Tarot, and when it arrived, it was amazing beyond what I dreamed it could be. It's not just the massively diverse deck, the box, the cloth, and all the little tokens that add depth. It's that it grew an entire community around it ( The Alley ), and that community is full to the brim of wonderful people from around the world, swapping tips and tricks, discussing their newly developed spreads, creating and deepening the Alleyman's lore, and so much more. The Alley welcomes all who wander in. If you were lost before, you've now found Sanctuary among the rest of us misfits and oddballs; you're not a stranger anymore, you're amongst friends.
When I saw the Oracle Dice pop up in The Alley, it made my little nerd heart sing. You see, I'm not just a witchcraft nerd; I'm a regular nerd too, and I can't resist a beautiful set of dice. Combine that with my penchant for oracle decks, and I was hitting "pledge" before I even knew which level I wanted. They're hitting the stretch goals quick; personally, I'm hoping we hit at *least* the $200k mark for that awesome 200 page workbook. With a full set of dice, a bag, a guidebook, and a reading cloth only coming in at $35 I think we just might make it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
As a bonus, if you missed the glorious Alleyman's Tarot before, you can get it as an add-on here. It's the full 137 card deck (yes, 137 cards. It's a beast to shuffle but it's worth it), the four booster packs, the guidebook, and there's an option to add the cigar box too. I highly recommend the cigar box as it holds all 137 original cards plus the 59 cards from the booster packs very comfortably (As a perk, adding on 59 more cards to shuffle helps me mark "arm day" off on my workout schedule).
My Alleyman's Tarot is my favorite, go-to deck for any and all readings. I have a feeling these Oracle Dice are going to become a mainstay in my divination practice too. If you're interested, grab a set while you can; the campaign ends July 14th.
