It’s been 25 years…

I once again hold a (provisional) race license and gridded up this past weekend at Raceway with .

Started with license school Friday, and won the mock race that evening from flag to flag. Observed Saturday and hung out with great people, then raced two races on Sunday.

Sunday morning practice, I was P4 in Big Bike Novice group (I’m on a 600, and this group has 750s and liter bikes), and was the fastest ProvNov.

Race 1 was the ProvNov, and after getting the hole shot, I was passed on the back straight by a liter bike (again, I’m on a 600), and stayed behind him for second place.

Race 2 was the “old man” F40 race, which included expert heavyweight, expert middleweight, novice heavyweight, and my class of novice middleweight. Finished 6th overall, but P1 for my class!

So 1st, 2nd, 1st for my first weekend back. I’m ok with that!
