Asa Baako” is an Akan phrase which translates as “one dance.” The festival has been on the cultural calendar of Ghana since 2011.

The Asa Baako music festival is among the many music festivals in the country that takes place every year at the shores of Busua, a fishing community in the Western Region of Ghana.

It was an amazing experience with some of our guests.

I am simply just a traveller.
I allow my feet to guide me .

Rest found in the natural serenity of the Wli waterfalls.
Where the mountain’s stillness helps to ground the mind. Whilst, the flowing water clears all negativity.

It doesn’t stop there, at Akosombo we have also found a sight that empowers our travellers. The mountain’s peak is just a physical demonstration of what we can achieve if we put our minds to it.

By the time we are through, all tourists will feel reset. Especially once they’ve connected with the beautiful beaches that Accra has to offer.

It's Throw back Thursday!

Just last month, we were able to run a private tour. Our trip started with light rain, but this did not deter us. Little did we know a heavy rainfall awaited us at the Wli waterfalls.

There was never a dull moment driving for four hours because conversations were overflowing, and karaoke was doing its thing. The most beautiful part was the unveiling of how their love started. I must say that love is indeed a beautiful experience everyone must enjoy!

And to wrap it all up, Mr Femi couldn't help but confess that indeed 'Ghana jollof is the best'.

Akwantuo means "Journey " or " Traveling" in Twi. It can be referenced as " Batatuo" which also implies the act of travelling.

Someone may ask why "Akwantuo Ranger "

It came through as a vision from a passionate Ghanaian documentary photographer and a South Sudanese Australian community developer. Who’s paths aligned with love during a tour in Ghana 🇬🇭. Of which they were both dedicated to keeping mentally healthy.

The Akwantuo Ranger basically entails; rest while travelling, rejuvenate while you embark on your journey and reset your mental well-being !
