We are hosting a True Crime and Halloween themed cruise next October and I want to try and answer some of the most common questions I am receiving.
The details for the cruise are as follows:
We will be sailing out of Tampa Florida on 10/19/25 for a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean and returning to Tampa on 10/26/25.
Our ports of call will be Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel
We will be sailing on the Margaritaville at Sea's newest ship, the Islander
Passports are recommended but are not required. If you do not have a passport you can travel with a certified copy of your birth certificate along with a government issued photo ID
Salty Kisses Travel is sponsoring 3 podcast teams to provide in person shows and one show with all of three teams together in collaboration- Everything Scary, Murder and Mimosas, and Murdered and Missing News
There will be true crime themed games and a murder mystery event. We will have a costume contest and Halloween games and events as well.
As part of the True Crime & Halloween group you will have exclusive access to these true crime shows, and the themed events and games that the rest of the ship will be excluded from.
To join us on this exciting adventure I will need to speak with you and obtain some information. The cruise line must have a complete manifest to submit to all port authorities so each port knows who is entering and leaving their country.
To obtain this information we can talk via phone, email, or virtual meeting, whichever you are more comfortable with.
The information needed for every passenger:
*legal first and last name- this must match your travel documents
*date of birth
*address
*phone number
*email address
I also need to know what travel documents you will be bringing- I do not need the document information only what form of documents you will be using. You will be required to submit the document information to the cruise line later.
After I submit this information to MAS I will receive a payment link that I will send to you to pay your $100 per cabin deposit (or however much you choose to pay). This turnaround can take 1-2 business days.
From there you can make payments in the amount and frequency that you want as long as the full balance is paid 90 days prior to sailing (July 2025).
Cost of the cruise
These price quotes include cabin fare, taxes, fees, gratuities and access to the themed group events. These quotes are only guaranteed to the first 100 cabins.
Once the first 100 cabins are booked I will receive another block of cabins with a new quote. So I will still be able to book you, I just can't guarantee the pricing will be the same.
Double occupancy:
Interior cabin: $1,454.80 ($727.40 per person)
Breezy Balcony cabin: $1,840.80 ($907.40 per person)
Solo cruiser:
Interior cabin: $1,26.50
Breezy Balcony cabin: $1,486.50
FAQ's- from the MAS website:
* What does the cruise price include?- Your fare includes shipboard accommodations, round-trip ocean transportation, all meals (excluding specialty dining options), select beverages (drip coffee, juices, filtered water, and tea), onboard live entertainment, and our supervised kid's programs (charges may apply for after-hours programs).
* What is not included?- Any onboard expenses not pre-paid, like shore excursions, bar beverages, soft drinks, specialty dining, casino, phone calls, kids club fees, photographs, and any items you may choose to purchase not specifically stated are not included in your cruising price.
* What is the Wifi cost?- $67.50 per device
* What does the Beverage Package cost?- $445.97 per person (if a passenger purchases the package all passengers of legal drinking age in that cabin must purchase the package)
