UPDATE AS OF JULY 8, 2021; 4PM

Surigao and Siargao have recalled their previous order and now require RT-PCR tests from all passengers, even from a fully-vaccinated traveler, after the Department of Health (DOH) said the protocol remains in effect while the local government units and the Inter-Agency Task Force review travel guidelines.

This is based on information we have available at the moment. Please continue checking with your local government units for the latest updates. For more information, visit bit.ly/CEBTravelRequirements

UPDATE AS OF JULY 7, 2021; 1PM

Cebu Pacific welcomes the decision of select provinces to accept fully vaccinated person with vaccination card as a travel requirement for interzonal and intrazonal movements.

To date, seven (7) destinations in Cebu Pacific’s widest domestic network are accepting vaccination card in lieu of RT-PCR test results, and these are Negros Occidental Province (except Bacolod City), Cauayan City, Cotabato, Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban, and Virac.

Cebu Pacific will comply with the health protocols set by the government, including RT-PCR test results, should it be required by the local government of our destination.

Good news!

Fully-vaccinated individuals may now travel to Baguio City without having to submit a negative RT-PCR test.

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong has amended travel protocols in the city and waived the swab test requirement for travelers in the country’s summer capital, effective July 5, 2021.

Individuals who wish to travel to Baguio City only need three requirements for entry: a QR-Coded Tourist Pass which can be acquired by visiting vista.baguio.gov.ph, a negative COVID-19 test result or certificate of full-dose vaccination, and mandatory triage upon arrival.

The local government has advised tourists to practice of minimum public health standards and to seek medical attention if they have come in contact with a known confirmed case, or if they begin to feel any flu-like symptoms.

Tips to stop a car when one of the tires explodes when speed exceeds 100 km/h

1 / First tip:
When a tyre explodes try to stay as calm as possible and hold the steering wheel firmly with both hands.

2 / second tip:
It's the most important keep your foot off the brakes and don't push it at all. Don’t even look at the brake pedal, don’t even think about it.

3 / third tip:
Stay on your path and try not to change it or get out of anyone’s way, stay on a path as straight as possible.

4 / The fourth tip:
If your car has a manual transmission, gradually change to a lower BUT ONLY do so if you feel that the car is completely under control.
If your car has an automatic transmission, stay in the Drive (D) gear DO NOT change.

5 / Fifth tip:
Don't use brakes, the drag from the exploded tire will slow you down.

6 / Sixth advice:
When speed drops to 50 km/h, you can gently press the brakes until the car stops

Spread the message! You may save a life.

Side note: if you watch videos of cars slipping on snow or drifting, you will notice that the the wheels are turned in the direction you want the car to go! Eg. The car’s tail is swinging slightly to the right (but the front of the car is still straight) then slowly turn the wheels in the same direction and same angle as rear (right). The car will slowly or suddenly (depending on suspension type & road conditions) swing back in the opposite direction and you will have to be very alert and change the wheels direction back to straight. Don’t do it too quickly otherwise the car will swing into the opposite direction and you may be facing oncoming traffic or you may rollover.
