Hey all! Here's an amazing opportunity to be part of the Guelph Engineering Competition 2020 (GEC) as a Team Lead!!
Your task will consist of creating and preparing a problem package for your respective competition.
We are currently looking for team leads for Junior Design and Communication. Here's a brief description of what these competitions are like:
Junior Design: Designing solutions to many the problems we face in the world is a major component of engineering. Junior Design is a competition that pushes students to create a prototype of a solution to such a problem.
Communication:Engineers often find themselves needing to explain technical processes or issues to clients, coworkers, or other professionals that do not have a background in the subject matter. As such, engineers must develop the skill to efficiently and succinctly communicate in a manner that is easily understood and thoroughly explanatory.

In light of the current situation, the textbooks there were rented out during the current semester will be required to be returned in the first 2 weeks of the Fall 2020 semester.
If you are graduating this year and you will not be in school in the Fall semester contact us immediately, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label to send the textbooks back to the school when possible.

Introducing the 4th competition at the 2019 GEC: Innovative Design
Open to undergraduate engineering students, this competition gives all participating teams the opportunity to showcase an independent project that contributes to participants' knowledge and develop a functional design that can follow current engineering practices in logical manner. If you have a design team for 41x with a feasible project to showcase, or for Bio-Instrumentation or any others Design Courses, this is your chance.
This category will NOT be accepting individual registrations. Furthermore, the projects should be completed and ready for presentation on November 2nd. This competition is open to students that have graduated no more than 1 year prior to January 2020. Know a friend who has a cool 41x project that graduated in April? Let them know they can showcase their project!
