Wow! What a way to spend a wedding anniversary… In Bermuda on a seven day cruise! Just finished booking this trip for a couple celebrating nearly 40 years together and they are excited to see all that Bermuda has to offer!

The unique thing about this itinerary is that they will be able to spend three days in Bermuda on an extended stay in port! That’s a beach day, a shopping day and a just because day!! They will also be able to enjoy three days at sea, so they can fully enjoy the amenities aboard ship!

We all dream about those “bucket list” destinations-the canals of Venice, the Maldives, Paris or Hawaii, but don’t forget about all the wonderful places to see in between! Maybe it’s a National Park or a historical site in a neighboring state, an amusement or water park or even playing tourist in your own city or state.

Travel is such a valuable experience! And honestly, it doesn’t really matter where you go as long as you get out there and start exploring! It’s never really about the destination anyway…it’s ALL about the journey!

Today is National Road Trip Day!!
I don’t know about you but I LOVE a good road trip-something about just getting in the car and hitting the open road with no real plan-just seeing what you can see and enjoying the moment…and let’s talk about the snacks!

If you’re new to cruising, you may not know that some cruise lines offer two dinner seatings — one early and one late. If you plan to be out exploring each port I recommend picking the late seating. Most excursions won’t get you back in time for the early seating. This is something you should let me as your travel advisor know as early as possible so I can ensure there’s a spot for you.

Clients often ask me which Caribbean cruises are best, East or West?
And my answer is always, either! It all depends on what you’d like to see and what your interests are. No matter which one you choose, you’ll have lots of opportunities to swim, snorkel, lounge on the beach, and shop.

There are some differences, though, and on top of finding the cruise and right ship for you, I’ll also provide you with information on different ports of call, shore excursions, entertainment, and other activities, so it truly is a tailored experience just for you.

Took a spur of the moment road trip to one of my favorite places yesterday-Cave Point Park in Door County, Wisconsin…I love going there all year round! It was cold yesterday but still worth every minute…took my sketchbook but it was too cold to sit and draw…next time!
