Academy Tourist Hosting martial artists and/or their clubs to visit Cornwall, have seminars, training and of course

In 2012 we hosted Roger Gracie Academy Bucks (RGAB) to come to Newquay and have a weekend of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Surfing. The weekend was such a success that we thought why not open it up to other martial arts and offer this to a widespread audience. Of course RGAB are the first to sign up and return having already booked a weekend in June.

Our motto: BJJ without borders. In our understanding, our art can be practiced by people from all backgrounds, regardless of age, s*x, ethnic background or where they live. However, BJJ is not for everyone. It takes courage and persistence to be training regularly and lots of people give up in their first year. We do not endorse watered down programs that hide students from reality, if one is not ready to commit seriously to the sport, rather take Aikido lessons or find your nearest McDojo.
