If you’re a lover of sweets, Rue du Bac is not to be missed while you’re in Paris. In just a three-block span, you’ll find some of Paris’s best pastry and chocolate shops all clustered together. Highlights along Rue du Bac include:

Am I the only one that always underestimates how much I'll be walking on a trip?

I once made the rookie mistake of wearing my cute new sandals on the rustic yet uneven cobblestone streets of Paris. Three blisters and a few tears later, I decided to invest in a durable pair of leather-wear-them-everyday sandals.

Keep your trip pain-free by packing a comfortable pair of broken-in shoes. I'm a big fan of classic tennis shoes or a trusty pair of leather sandals!

Exploring Europe by train really is quite the experience. Imagine looking out your window as you speed past the Alps and charming little European towns.

New York City is the perfect couples’ vacation for city lovers. There are so many phenomenal things to see and do, whether it’s a quick weekend getaway to enjoy the highlights or a whole week fully immersing yourself in all the city has to offer.

For a bird’s eye view of the city, the Empire State building is a natural pick, but the One World Observatory at Top of the Rock also offers impressive views. Take a romantic stroll through Central Park, or enjoy a show on Broadway, it’s one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences you’ll remember forever.

Just doing my part to make sure Comet is fed before his round-the-world journey.

Going to a reindeer farm is something that should be on everyone's bucket list. It's amazing to learn about local Norwegian Sami culture while hanging out with hundreds of reindeer.

Plus if you have kids (or are just a kid at heart 🙋‍♀️) this is the PERFECT experience to celebrate the holidays!

Paris isn’t known as the City of Lights for nothing. From November to the beginning of January, the capital is decked out for the festive season with colored bulbs, glowing arches, and spectacular light shows.

Catch the best on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées, and on and around Place Vendôme. Luxury department store Galeries Lafayette outdoes itself year after year with its giant glowing Christmas tree. You can stroll down the historic streets, pop into Christmas markets, and take in the popular sights — all without the big summer crowds.

Paris is truly magic at Christmas! ✨
