Today is our last day in Africa and we fly home tomorrow. I’m beyond gateful to Great Safaris LLC for showing us so many amazing things we can’t wait to share with clients. A variety of properties, restaurants and experiences. Very busy days from 5am-10pm trying to fit everything in! Met some fabulous new friends, laughed until we cried, and got my adrenaline pumping and eyes wide open. I can’t tell you how magical Africa is. Today we spent the day “researching” different wineries for our clients. We stopped at two, had tastings and snacks, and then went to a third for lunch.

South Africa is a top producer for wine and they are famous for their Pinotage, which is ONLY made here. It is a cross between a Pinot Noir and Hermitage. Delish!

It’s a tough job but someone has to do it! 🍷

A few people have asked me what do you need to travel to South Africa? Shots? Immunizations?

Nothing! Just a passport! And let me tell you, Cape Town and the coast are stunning. And there’s something for everyone! Amazing restaurants everywhere, a hopping marina and wharf area, National Parks and hiking trails, wildlife, botanical gardens and tons of history.

Enjoyed my first day in Cape Town and the historical and charming
It was painted its signature pink color to celebrate the end of WW1. John Lennon, the Dalai Lama, the Prince of Wales in 1925 and many other famous people have stayed here. The signature High Tea experience was delicious!
