We had the great privilege of hosting our first Blue Crab Pickin' Airbnb Experience - June 17, 2023! What a great time, we discussed the importance of maintaining a healthy Chesapeake Bay through sound environmental responsibility, as well as the significance of African American History in Aquaculture and specifically to the Hampton Roads Region! We showed folks how to identify a male and female crabs and crack'em open. We taught them what to eat, and more importantly, what not to eat and last but certainly not least.... on top of ALL THAT FUN, we raised $400 for Minorities In Aquaculture (MIA).
