Family travel made easy! All passengers must undergo security screening, regardless of age, prior to boarding an airplane. The first step to a positive screening experience starts at home.
What you pack in your carry-on and how you pack your items, can make all the difference:
• Separate liquids, aerosols and gels. Each passenger is allowed to bring a 1L, resealable, transparent bag with containers of liquids, gels and aerosols that are no larger than 100 ml.
• If you are travelling with an infant younger than two years of age (0-24 months), you can bring baby food, milk, liquid formula, water, juice and other baby items in quantities greater than 100 ml. Ensure these items are easily removable from your carry-on, as they will need to be inspected separately.
• Consider packing entertainment for your children, especially for longer flights. Books, tablets, games and toys are great options to keep everyone occupied during your journey. Ensure to leave toys that look like weapons (e.g. water guns) at home.
• Certain powders and granular materials, like baby powder or inorganic baby formula, are limited to a total quantity of 350 ml or less when packed in carry-on baggage.
• Solid foods such as granola bars, apples and sandwichesare good to go in your carry-on baggage.
