A red and swing evening at Château Lamothe Bergeron
If you're looking for something fun to do this week in the center of Bordeaux, I have a fun event to recommend - free dance classes!
Dansons sur les Quais is a series of dancing classes and events where people gather to dance together and learn a variety of dancing genres like Tango, Salsa, Bollywood, Forro, Hip Hop, Street Jazz, Zumba, and more.
All the dance classes are guided by professional dancers from different dance schools in Bordeaux. Most of the lessons are completely free!

The perfect family vacation doesn't exist, well, cause traveling with kids isn't really a vacation 🤭
But Arcachon comes quite close!
The stunning Bay on the Atlantic Ocean has an infinite amount of stuff your kids will absolutely adore!
Climbing the biggest sand dunes in Europe, Kayaking, fruit picking, amusement parks, safe beaches for kids and more.
I have a post on my blog with all the best things to do in Arcachon with kids, take a look https://www.lostinbordeaux.com/fun-things-to-do-with-kids-in-arcachon/ #Arcachon
Yesterday @institutbernardmagrez welcomed its new summer bar, @nunka.beer. I couldn't miss the opportunity for a cold bottle of rosé on such a hot day! The chill atmosphere and being surrounded by stunning French gardens made it a perfect evening!
The bar is open every Wednesday until September 22nd.
Last Friday, I finally went to see the new exhibition at the Bassins de Lumières, bringing to live the brilliant works of Monet, Renoir, Chagall and others. It was so fun to see art again, especially when it's delivered in such a spectacular way.
The exhibition is on until January 2nd and the tickets must be book online in advance.
How about a hike in a magical forest that you can finish with a picnic at a lake with a tiny beach (not for swimming though). Bois des Sources du Peugue in Pessac is one of the less known forests/ parks in the metropole, but it's really worth a visit. It has plenty of trails that are perfect not only for hiking but also for cycling. It's a great place for a family-friendly hike and also for a walk with your dogs that will adore the lake.
