Finding healthy dog treats without all the added chemicals, salts, preservatives, and artificial flavors is a challenge. At Pet Chef, we combine our creative culinary talents and our passion for healthy food to bring you healthy all natural pet food and pet treats for your loved ones. After finding it difficult to source healthy all natural pet treats for his dog, Charles decided to start manufact

uring his own treats. With help from his daughters Cadence and Angelina, they started making their own homemade dog treats. Sharing their creations with family and friends, they soon realized there was a demand for all natural dog treats. Branding their own home made dog bones after their dog Kodi Bear, they created kodibones.com and started selling their Kodi Bones online. In the meantime, David Patrick with his diverse entrepreneurial background was looking into his next investment opportunity, received a text message from his mother to go check out a website.... it was kodibones.com. After going through the website, he clicked on "Meet the Team" and to his amazement, he saw his nieces and decided to make a phone call to learn a little more about the future of kodibones.com. After a few short conversations, they knew they were onto something much bigger. They decided on a partnership together to launch their own brand of healthy all natural pet treats. Chef Quality. ATTENTION Pet Parents!

A chemical used in Milk-Bones, Ol’Roy, Kibbles’n Bits, Hill’s Pet Food and other pet foods should no longer be considered safe for consumption due to concerns about its ability to damage DNA according to a new animal-model study.

According to the Environmental Working Group: “A scientific panel created by the European Food Safety Authority found that titanium dioxide “can no longer be considered as safe when used as a food additive.” The panel, citing concerns about titanium dioxide’s genotoxicity, or its ability to damage DNA, based its conclusion on a review of hundreds of scientific studies. EWG called on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to quickly consider whether to ban titanium dioxide from use in food."

A chemical that may damage our pet's DNA should not be fed to pets.

Titanium dioxide is on The Forever Dog’s Dirty Dozen list of additives you need to avoid in your pet food. www.ForeverDog.com/about

Our Story

Restaurant quality ingredients are making their way into more pet foods. As a professional chef for over 25 years, Chef Charles is making the switch from human prepared food to making human quality food for pets using all natural ingredients. Our top priority is the health, happiness and longevity of our canine companions. With this in mind, we’ve set out to create the best healthy dog treats using all natural ingredients. We are attracted by the challenge, and the ability to make a difference for our pets.

" We had concerns about some of the ingredients used in pet food, so my daughters and I started making our own dog treats at home, which lead us into an opportunity to do something we believe in; to bring better quality food for our loved ones. " - Chef Charles

Creating all natural pet treats and pet food isn’t just improving the quality of ingredients, it requires a whole new approach. We work with pet nutritionists, and veterinarians to create dog treats that are free of any artificial chemicals, and tasty and deliscious for your pet. Not only are we trying to make pet food healthier, we want to make sure it’s enjoyed by even the pickiest pet.

We develop recipes using USDA sourced inspected meats from the USA, and fresh fruits and vegetables from local sustainable farms. At Pet Chef, we hold ourselves to a higher standard we would like to see the pet food industry take on as a whole.
