Boucle de 3 jours de randonnée dans la section des High Peaks aux Adirondacks. Superbes conditions météorologiques, de beaux moments, des vues majestueuses à s’en couper le souffle! 32.4km et 1800m de dénivelé positif derrière nous.🏔

La Mistassibi Nord-Ouest, un havre de paix où l’on peut admirer les fabuleux méandres qui la composent avec ses plages de sable fin. Les falaises du lac au foin nous font penser à autre chose que le vent qui nous fait face. Les ours noirs nous accueillent à son embouchure pour nous faire découvrir les premiers rapides de la rivière. Les 60 derniers kilomètres se font avec finesse en passant par des R1, R2, certains R3 ou même un R4.

Cette rivière sauvage à presque 200km au nord de Dolbeau-Mistassini s’écoule sur 115km avec nous à bord de nos canots jusqu’au croisement de son bras Nord-Est, là où notre route se termine.

Mista ce n’est qu’un aurevoir…

4 days in the ZEC du Gros-Brochet. One tip for beginners: Watch out for hunters around you when you go paddling in fall!

Last trip of the summer in the Northwest Territories. 7 smoky but luckily calm days on the North Arm of Great Slaves Lake. 140km starting from Yellowknife and ending in Behchoko (Rae).

Despite the smoke caused by forest fires it was a very beautiful summer once again! Already thinking about the ski season though!

Almost 2 weeks from now, Hannah Goodings and I finished a wonderful kayaking trip with our guests on Etthen Island in the East Arm of Great Slave Lake. 9 days of gorgeous landscapes, winds, sun and fun on and off the water.

This is definitely my favourite sea kayaking route and I am happy that I had the chance to do it once again this year with amazing people!

Thanks Jackpine Paddle for this great opportunity! It will probably not be my last time over there 🙌

An other amazing trip just finished on the Horton River! Beautiful swifts, cliffs and fishes everywhere for us. We also had the chance to eat Arctic char directly from the river.

Never went that far in the North. The Arctic circle's vegetation and wildlife is truly wonderful. Not for nothing that we call it the spectacular NWT...
