Disney Cruise Line's Disney Destiny will sail its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Nov. 20, 2025.

The maiden voyage will be followed by an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Every sailing will include a day of fun in the sun at either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay — some itineraries will even visit both! — and select cruises will feature more sun-soaked relaxation and warm-weather adventure in Nassau, Bahamas, or Cozumel, Mexico.

There are a few Disney Cruise Line itineraries that I think are worth considering for the Disney Destiny.

First, why even book something so far ahead of time? It saves you money, it allows you to have first choice of stateroom/deck and it makes it easy to budget at 0% financing.

Cruises to consider:
November 24th-28th, 2025
This sailing is over Thankgiving, which means you can still have family time without cleaning up after people!

December 30th-January 4th, 2026
This sailing is over New Years and has stops at both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. What cooler way to ring in the new year?

February 14th-19th and/or February 19th-23rd, 2026
This sailing is over President’s Day weekend (and Valentine’s Day!) and also has the possibility for a back to back with one directly after if you have school vacation.

April 20th-25th, 2026
This sailing has particular low prices and it’s during school vacation week for many.

One of the best places to stay in Walt Disney World, is the Yacht Club. ⚓️

Step in Disney’s Yacht Club with its rich tones, a nautical theme, adult lounges, the best steakhouse on property, health club, tennis courts, walking proximity to Epcot, boat rentals and not to mention Stormalong Bay, the feature pool, is hands down the most fun pool on Disney property!

Here is what the Yacht Club has to offer:

✨Location can’t be beat! This resort is just few short steps from Epcot and about a 15 minute walk from Hollywood Studios (you can also take a boat there if you don’t want to walk).

✨Access to the Skyliner

✨The resort has its own water park called Stormalong Bay. Have you ever tried the "Purple Penguin" drink available at Citricos? It comes in a penguin thermos and includes pineapple, peach, and lemon juices with lavender, and grenadine topped with house-made seltzer. It's perfect for kids AND adults!

Citricos is one of my FAVORITE restaurants on the WDW property! I am a huge Mary Poppins fan. I absolutely love the decor, theme and food at Citricos, located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.

Fun fact: Mary Poppins was released 60 years ago today!🪁
