Pleasurable Pleasantries at 'The Pods'
Say that 3x fast and see if you end up at this majestic location before its close on 8/13/23.
Created by renowned developer, Asharhia Resident, is 'The Pods' one of Asha's best projects yet to come and not because of its tropical ambiance or animal sanctuary, (although we love that too) but for the magic it brings.
Like a Harry Potter page turner, are Asha's 5 distinct pod locations within the Black Mountains a conquest for one's wildest fantasies. As we walked inside a huge book, we became immersed into our deepest corners of our minds. The dynamic roleplay coupled with a glacial winter lagoon, sacred deep forest, child-like garden, and glowing caves had us frozen in time. Our minds, roleplay, clothes, and spirit would literally shift with every pod.
Stepping out of the pods felt like grief and the sounds of elephants, waterfalls, and firepits prompted one to feel overstimulated. Such contrast would be uncomfortably jarring for us in many cases, but the integration and flow of this project had the opposite effect renewing our spirits and helping us appreciate the art even more.
On our 1st day at The Pods, the roleplay was dynamic. A lovely team known as the BADU helped get us acquainted in various capacities. We arrived in the Black mountains helicopter style and the views were mesmerizing. Check-in was smooth and swift and our golfcart es**rt drove us to our bungalow in style.
Bungalows
Our favorite feature of the bungalows was the oceanic views wrapped around the pods with floor to ceiling windows everywhere! Of course black out blinds provided privacy, but the openness really connected us to the space. We appreciated the simplistic beauty of it as it truly screams "Unplug" and we were pleasantly surprised yet satisfied that there was no tv inside.
We would spend the day in 2 pods and prior, we would partake in an array of excursions from parasailing to hang gliding, sky diving! and more! Our nightcap was a lovely steak dinner with the good company of other pod guests. Days 2 & 3 we would venture into other pods and enjoy quality time while changing clothes to fit the occasion. While it could have been an inconvenience we appreciated the commitment need to fully feel the space and of course it made for great pics.
The only quirk we found here was a missing itinerary. While we love a good surprise, the uniqueness of this space requires a little bit of prep and for the social media influencers out there, you always want to be ready.

The Pods is beyond creative. It's a story worth reading all on it's own and you will not be disappointed.
Quality Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The entire BADU staff was friendly and cordial. Dr. Chyrs was my favorite as she helped us navigate our way to and fro the pods and accommodated our late night rings lol. Mr. Seasone was our excursion leader and full of energy and fun. He definitely brought the pods guest together and gave us a ton of laughs and Bhudda our waiter was grand. He knew his fine dining and was quick with the food but patience with the process.

We got so much for such a great price. This was Asha's most special deal yet and we love a good steal. While we know it won't always be this way, we will take the wins when they come :)
Ease of Navigation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Every bungalow came with a golf cart! We were able to drive around with ease and the roads were safe. There was 1 hard sim crossing just before our bungalow area, but we adjusted pretty quick after the first time.
Interactive⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐
The activities, dinners, group excursions and more left us feeling tired. While we came to relax and did in increments one thing we CANNOT say is that it wasn't interactive
