Big changes are coming on how you travel to Europe! Here’s what you need to know before you go. ⬇️ Starting in early January 2025, if you have a U.S passport you’ll need to apply for the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) to enter over 30 European countries. We’re talking big places like Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Portugal and more. 🇮🇹🇬🇷🇪🇸 Your authorization will be valid for three years or until your passport expires (whichever first). This is NOT a visa, but an entry requirement. If you’re between ages 18-70, you’ll pay 7 euros, to apply online. This process can be fast and is usually processed within minutes. BUT some can take up to 30 days if additional information is required. So don’t risk it and wait to apply.
