Lazy Backpackers is not an outcome for revenue generation, it is a dream. It is a desperate attempt to live a passion. As the founder of Lazy Backpackers I believe that it is in middle of nowhere we find ourselves and there are no strangers, there are just friends we haven't met. In middle of skyscrapers and our comfort couches we are deprived of the serenity of open fields and colorful landscapes

. In the hush of city life and by the speed of clock we surpass the pleasure of making new friends. Lazy Backpackers is about meeting new friends in the backdrop of nature. We are not professionals, we are not travel agents, we are backpackers who like to meet new people. We make plans and share them with people to join us in our adventure. And as backpackers we adjust with the team. We make adjustments to suit the needs of all in the pack. For us it is always about 'us' and the plans of all the backpackers who come along. In days to come we all will include backpacking in our lazy lifestyle and make Lazy Backpackers our own travel excuse. We also believe that India is less explored as travelled. On our next journey and at the next event we hope to have a drink at some crazy destination with you and your friends. Cheers !!

A lot of people ask about flying to Ladakh. Even though the AMS wouldn't kill you but its surely gonna hurt too bad. Driving from lower altitude to a higher altitude is always a better option. Take it slow and enjoy the drive. For more information leave us a message we will be happy to help.

The Upcycle Co. is a social venture that makes fun and unique products out of difficult-to-recycle waste in India. We primarily use waste vinyl records which are made from a non-recyclable plastic called PVC and have just started creating products out of waste CD Roms as well. So far we have upcycled over 1000 kgs of waste and with your help we can do even more! Please share the link to our Etsy shop below and encourage others to share it as well. I really appreciate all the help! 🙂

Day 5 in Bhutan: It was probably the luckiest day of our life to witness a full circular rainbow. On our way to Chimi Lakhang or the temple of fertility we witnessed the full rainbow which made a halo to the sun. It was a moment to cherish forever. The fertility temple was made for the lord known as "Mad Man" he questioned monotonous religious beliefs at the same time believed in doing good. It was an interesting experience. Thereafter we left for Thimpu through our favourite Dorchu La. On reaching Thimphu we went straight to the Buddha Point which boasts of a 169 feet tall Buddha Statue. The sight of Thimpu from the top is beautiful. There is little left to do tomorrow however we will keep you posted until then , Cheers !!

Day 4 in Bhutan: The day starts with sorting permission for Punakha and Wangdue. Easily done in an hour we left for Punakha via Dochu La. Pakoras and Tea in Dochu La with fog covering all around in front of 108 stupas was an unforgettable experience. On arriving in Punakha we went to the Punakha Dzong which is the biggest monastery in Bhutan and one of the most famous in Asia. The grand statutes looked too lively to be true and the paintings on the walls and ceilings are too beautiful to be expressed in words. A short trek to the suspension bridge is a must do while in Punakha. The evening thereafter was spend relaxing in our riverfront cottage near Wangdue. We discover some more sights tomorrow untill then , cheers !!

Day 3 in Bhutan: The day starts with thoughts of Tiger Nest Monastery and how we still can't believe we did the most beautiful and stressful trek. We started our day with Kichu Lhakang. It is one of the oldest monastery in Asia. Thereafter, we visited the National Museum and Rinpung Dzong. The calmness of the monastery and hymns soothe the soul. We left for Thimphu in evening and the road trip is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l !!!!!! The skies touched the roads and cool moist breeze was just amazing. On the way we witnessed the Tachogang Temple and the iron bridge across the temple. It was truly a blissful day with lots of love from weather God. Until tomorrow cheers!!

Day 2 in Bhutan: We kept an entire day for the trek to Tiger Monastery. Ticking this off from the bucket list feels so good. The weather was perfect throughout and we surely felt so blessed after trekking to the monastery. The trek was almost 8kms in the rough with height escalating from 3000 to 9000 feet. The 1600 steps near the monastery almost takes the breath away. In your life while you can do this to realize the true potential of your body and how God makes sure you are blessed. A detailed article on Tiger Nest Monastery to follow soon. Until then cheers!

Day 1: Touched down at Paro, Bhutan and amazing weather welcomed us!! The lush green hills and rainbow for company. Took our time to get friendly with city by indulging in street shopping. Came across a flower exhibition spread across a kilometre radius. God has some special liking for Bhutan as it shines with millions of colours. Super excited for tomorrow as we discover the touristy sights and places that make Bhutan so special. Will keep all travel enthusiasts updated.
Cheers.

The most awaited annual Lazy Backpacker drive starts today. Travelling into the mystical land of Bhutan is a rare pleasure. Can't wait to visit the remote monasteries and spiritual temples, to trek the wondrous Himalaya and admire the mountainous pastures. With customs and traditions still going strong after centuries, and cultural festivals celebrated from corner to corner, there is nowhere quite like blessed Bhutan!

Here we are with another destination, another dream and another drive. We are surely making our mark in the road trips.
We started Leh drives 3 years back when it wasn't as crowded as it is now. Bhutan seems to be the next to follow the trend and therefore we intend on visiting the divine place much before the tourists flood it.

The process is easy:

1) Like the picture.
2) Message or comment your email ID or phone number.
3) Confirm your spot

4) Lazy Backpack with us to Bhutan !!!!

P.S: Details are given when asked.

Known as the “Land of the Thunder Dragon,”. A road trip across landlocked country awaits us.
