The Inferno Mobile Recording Studio provides youth and community of all ages and abilities with the tools to create self-authored digital media experiences. By enabling participants to create original socially conscious works, we help to expand critical thinking skills through creative experimentation, collaboration and discussion. Examples of work we do:
• Collaborative digital music sessions

ideo, photo and multimedia art projects
• Software/hardware training and workshops
• Documentary and story-sharing

Inferno is the Chicago Park District's mobile sound and media arts program, and we create community-relevant and participant-centered digital media with people all around chicago. Through creative writing and digital music making, participants explore collaboration and document their own ideas to share at home and with the world.

Q***R RADICAL FAIR 2021
What: Q***r Radical Fair: LGBTQIA+ Fashion & Resource Fair
When: Thursday, August 12th 3:00-7:00pm
Where: Ping Tom Memorial Park
Who: LGBTQIA+ youth, adults + allies are welcome
Co-hosted with the Chicago Public Library’s Radical Fit Program, this Q***r Fashion Show and Resource Fair will feature DJs, a fashion show, art making stations, COVID-19 vaccinations, HIV and STI testing, employment and housing opportunities, as well as accessible and culturally affirming mental health resources for LGBTQIA+ folx.
Please note there will be a mandatory Volunteer Orientation before the beginning of the event onsite from 1-2pm on Thursday, August 12th.
