Goondiwindi Regional Council appreciates the care and love shown through the personal items placed on graves at our Goondiwindi, Inglewood, Texas and Yelarbon cemeteries. We understand and value the importance of remembering and honouring loved ones.

To ensure the cemetery remains a peaceful and safe place for all visitors, Council may need to remove certain items that do not comply with cemetery guidelines, or items that may obstruct the ability to maintain the cemeteries.

✔️ 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀: Flowers in approved containers.
❌ 𝗨𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀: Glass vases, liquor bottles, cans, breakable items, ceramics, rocks and non-approved decorations. Solar lights, fishing poles and other ornaments sitting or inserted into the ground or attached to memorials are also prohibited.

We know that this may be difficult, and we appreciate your understanding as we strive to maintain a respectful and well-kept resting place for all.

If you notice a maintenance concern or have a request, such as topdressing a loved one's grave in the Lawn Section, please contact our Customer Service team on 07 4671 7400.
