Well let's see what some of the things Vogue Travel Club has been up to since the world started opening back up..
Sun kissed days on Punta Cana, the bottle auction, concerts museum, theater visits and much more. Yesterday before the rain started there was a wine trolley event in downtown Detroit. We have upcoming events such as a mystery trip and the famous Everybody Birthday Bash. Come join Vogue Travel Club for more fun to come!

Had a great time at Michigan by the Bottle yesterday and made more special our guest Karen Lewis of Angel House. She gave wonderful information about personal protection products and the Purple Gala benefit in October for domestic violence awareness. Please support the work she does for a life saving cause.

Yesterday Vogue Travel Club let our creative juices flow and became kids again! We colored pictures of sparkly unicorns 🦄 and tropical paradise while in the park. Such fun and laughter for all.

In spite of a pandemic VTC still has ways of having fun. Our annual Everybody's Birthday Party was held in a local park. We roasted hot dogs, veggie burgers and had a wine tasting. The fun doesn't have to stop and neither does Vogue Travel Club!

Our travel collage making event has begun! I'm excited because I love to travel and I have a wonderful travel Club to do so with. I found out today the actual itinerary and cost of my cruise in September 2020 to Turks and Caicos. I am majorly excited for this event because I haven't cruised in a while and it's always nice to do so. Yesterday we went to Goldfish Tea for a tea tasting. We have several teas that we enjoyed and we had an opportunity to buy teas and other merchandise there. We then went to Tom's Oyster Bar For brunch. It's always good to have fun times, good food (the shrimp and grits were excellent )and wonderful people to spend time with at Vogue Travel Club. I look forward to our upcoming events including our one day mystery trip and Christmas party.

I love being part of the Vogue travel Club. I'm on the entertainment committee and we met yesterday to get some of our activities and trips planned for this year. We always have fun at our meetings and as of this time we has a lot of things planned for this summer including our "Everybody Birthday Party" that we have every year. What I love about us is how you can make new friends and travel buddies especially as a single person. Sometimes people are scared to go places alone or the travel by themselves so with us you get an opportunity to do that with other people. I am on my second passport traveling the world with Vogue Travel Club and hang out with them at local events. I can't wait to continue to do more!

2017 Mystery Trip

OMG, I don't know where to begin......at 8a, our bus filled with excited faces anticipating what was to come Blush It was a perfect mix of old friends & new friends....as always lots of hugs.

Our adventure started with a prayer and introductions of all....to continue in the mysterious Wink everyone introduced themselves with their mystery alias Stuck out tongue winking eye OMG...we had Crown, Diamond, B***y, 24/7, Froggie, Boots, Sparkle, Mama O, Rockin Rich, P-Tyme, Teach, Avon Lady, Video Rod....just to name a few Smile Gifts were presented to our trivia winners & special guests Smiling face with halo which included a belly dance kit, "Niagara", VTC memberships & a frog Wink Guests contributed to our adopted

We stopped off for a quick breakfast & enjoyed BREAKFAST BUNDLES Smile next stop was our Mystery Scavenger hunt....guests located VTC fairy doors Woman facepalming & received gifts and discounts at the unique lovely venues.....a Tea House, Antique shop, Doll house, Gourmet boutique....and more.Ok hand For the adventurous our hunt for art sculptures provided exercise, enjoyment of a beautiful morning & the lovely visions of all the unique art sculptures. GOUDY found 15 sculptures & won a prize.Victory hand

Well.... now it's WINE time...our first stop included many lovely pairings of dips and snacks to complement the wine. YUMMYYum The spicy Bacon Jam was delicious Yum We enjoyed 7 tasting's .......Tropical drink

Ahh,our next stop was a beautiful venue on the lake where we enjoyed a tasty lunch at umbrella tables near the water & were offered the option to Kayak.....Wine & Kayak don't mixed Flushed... 1-800 call SAM...we passedFlushed SmileAfter lunch we enjoyed 6 more tasting & a hustle lesson to Reggae music Wink...some guests thought we were back in Cancun because of the beautiful weather, being by the water & DRINKING while listening to Island music Sunglasses

Enroute to our next stop a beach ball was tossed around the bus & JOKES were told Laughing the winning jokes were about a MIDGET WITH GRASS TOUCHING HIS_____ & something about THE 3 WORDS.....OOPSConfused ....I FORGOT THE REST Smile you would have had to be there Smile The winners were presented with lovely prizes.

The next stop included 6 tasting's, a beautiful view from the relaxing patio of the orchard filled with lovely grapes, a tour & history of their wine production....it was very interesting & tasty "Sexy Devil & Sparkling Sangria" were the groups favorites.Yum

OMG...what fun we had.......anyway enroute to the next stop was killer bingo.....we had 3 winners....it was a vicious battle Facepunch prizes were presented to the winners. We discussed upcoming trips with excitement.....LET'S GO!!!!!! Next year.. Las Vegas, Toronto & Jamaica await us. Sunglasses We were entertained by the kings of comedy....we laughed all the way to the next destination Smile

We arrived and enjoyed a delicious Italian dinner while we discussed our day, how much fun we had and when is the next adventure. As our club motto says "LET'S GO"

Bernie Mack entertained us as we made our way safely home by 10p.

A special thanks to Richard (our bus driver), Jackie (Boots), Penny (Sparkle) & Pam (P-Tyme) for their assistance in what was a perfect adventure.
