Day 4
Breakfast. Transfer to Jerusalem to the Mount of Olives, from where there is a beautiful view of the Old City of Jerusalem. Visitation of the Church of Pater Noster, where the Lord taught the Apostles the prayers of Our Father. Currently, there is the Monastery of Carmelite Sisters, and in the monastery garden, smelling of stunning cypress resin, you can find on one of 140 tables with languages ​​from around the world, the same prayer in your own native language. A walk along the Palm Sunday road to the unusual teardrop-shaped church - Dominus Flevit (Lord Wept), where Jesus on the way to Jerusalem looked at the city and wept over the fate of the chosen people. The
Palm Sunday road will lead us to the Basilica of the Nations in the Garden of Gethsemane - where Jesus sweated with blood and Judas betrayed him with a kiss. Transfer to the Western Wall and then a walk through the Jewish and Armenian district to Mount Zion to the Church of the Dormition N.M.P. Walk to the Upper Room and then visit the synagogue of the King David's Grave. Return to the hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 of our "Lent in the Holy Land" Pilgrimage
Breakfast. Transfer to the Shepherds' Field, the surface of an unusual church, built on the place where the shepherds slept, when an angel came to them, to announce the good news. Transfer to the Basilica of the Nativity - one of the places in the Holy Land, a department operating continuously since the 4th century, the longest in the world, prayer in the Christmas Grotto. A walk through the streets and center of Bethlehem to the Sanctuary of the Nursing Mother (Milk Grotto). Return to the hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight stay.

The Kidron Valley, which stretches between the Mount of Olives and the Temple Mount, is where Jesus’ last walk took place. On the northern slope of the Mount is the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus is said to have been captured. There are also several churches on the Mount of Olives, including the Church of Pater Noster and the Church of all Nations.

Nazareth, the childhood home of Jesus

Nazareth is the largest Arab city in Israel with a population of over 60,000, of which some 31 percent are Christians. Since Jesus spent much of his childhood here, Nazareth has ever since been closely associated with Christianity and attracted many pilgrims throughout the last two thousand years. The standout site in Nazareth is the Basilica of the Annunciation, the largest Christian church building in the Middle East, dedicated in 1964 on another Papal visit, this time by Pope Paul VI.

There are a number of additional Christian sites in Nazareth well worth a visit, including the Greek Orthodox Church of the Archangel Gabriel (built over the freshwater spring known as “Marys Well”), the Greek Catholic “Synagogue Church” (site of the synagogue where a young Jesus was taught, and where he later preached), and the Church of St. Joseph (built over a cave identified as the “workshop” of Jesus’ father Joseph).
