Day 4
Breakfast. Transfer to Jerusalem to the Mount of Olives, from where there is a beautiful view of the Old City of Jerusalem. Visitation of the Church of Pater Noster, where the Lord taught the Apostles the prayers of Our Father. Currently, there is the Monastery of Carmelite Sisters, and in the monastery garden, smelling of stunning cypress resin, you can find on one of 140 tables with languages from around the world, the same prayer in your own native language. A walk along the Palm Sunday road to the unusual teardrop-shaped church - Dominus Flevit (Lord Wept), where Jesus on the way to Jerusalem looked at the city and wept over the fate of the chosen people. The
Palm Sunday road will lead us to the Basilica of the Nations in the Garden of Gethsemane - where Jesus sweated with blood and Judas betrayed him with a kiss. Transfer to the Western Wall and then a walk through the Jewish and Armenian district to Mount Zion to the Church of the Dormition N.M.P. Walk to the Upper Room and then visit the synagogue of the King David's Grave. Return to the hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.
