She is a Certified Meeting Planner, a Certified and Licensed Tour Guide, and a Member of the Guild of Professional Tour Guides of Washington, DC. 111 Places in Black Culture in Washington, DC That you Must Not Miss is her new book done in collaboration with photographer David Wardrick. Ms. Williamson is also a graduate of Howard University.

Saturday kicked off the 25th anniversary of September’s Walking Town DC series, themed "Explore DC: 8 Days, 8 Wards, One City." On this beautiful day, I had the pleasure of leading a sold-out tour focused on African American History around the National Mall. It was an incredible experience with a fantastic group of people! Walking Town continues through Sep. 22. Check out Events DC for details.
