TEAPOD VIETNAM | TEAPOD 2: “8 YEARS TO REALIZE WHAT IS IMPORTANT …”

He was born in Lam D**g, where there are immense tea fields 🌿. At the age of 17 and 20, when we were still struggling with life and identity crises, he already knew exactly what his mission would be - dedicating his life to the tea industry. He valued the tea so much that he wanted to spend his life rebuilding the Vietnamese tea brand.

Even so, his journey has never been easy. He had nothing but the knowledge gathered from the university hall, and through many years of learning and gaining experiences, he has built DoTea as it is today. However, Vietnam's tea industry is still facing tons of challenges, farmers are cutting down all trees to plant something more profitable, tea growing areas are decreasing quickly, etc. Until now, he confided to me that:
The tea industry is always referred to as "poor" and people are not proud of it.
And it took him 8 years to know what was important until he realized that going "beyond" means we must take a detour sometimes.

If you had to choose a tree to represent your personality, which tree would it be?

TeaPod believes: meeting each other, sipping a cup of tea and sharing about their own representing plants is the most enjoyable way to connect. Each tree represents a different personality, and each guest in TeaPod will have the opportunity to share their story through the journey of that tree.

In the first week of airing, TeaPod wants to bring to audiences the story of a bamboo tree that is continuously growing and contributing to a more sustainable life.
