DOT ACCREDITED IN SIARGAO
The Province of Surigao del Norte has ordered “LIMITED NO TRAVEL POLICY” for all persons coming from METRO MANILA, and the Provinces of BULACAN, CAVITE, LAGUNA, AND RIZAL to this Province from March 22, 2021 until further orders.
Travels are only limited to all Surigao Del Norte residents and Non-resident Government Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR) on a special mission.
For SURIGAO DEL NORTE RESIDENTS traveling thru airports from Manila, the following are the travel requirements:
* Negative Result on Swab or Saliva RT-PCR Test taken within 48 hours or 2 days from the date of release of the result; and
* Proof of residency in Surigao Del Norte such as Valid ID containing address in Surigao Del Norte or Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of destination within the Province.
For Government APOR traveling thru airports from Manila, the following are the travel requirements:
* Negative Result on RT-PCR Test or Negative Result on COVID-19 Saliva Test taken within 48 hours or 2 days from the date of release of the result;
* Valid Identification Card; and
* Travel/Mission Order issued by the Chief of Office
In addition to this, ALL AIRLINE COMPANIES ARE ENJOINED TO NOT ACCEPT PASSENGERS, EXCEPT SURIGAO DEL NORTE RESIDENTS AND GOVERNMENT APOR ONLY WITH CONNECTING FLIGHTS FROM MANILA-CEBU-SIARGAO/SURIGAO.
Under Section 2.a of EO No. 21-010, s.2021, Surigao Del Norte residents and Government APOR traveling via seaports and other points of entry, the protocols and requirements issued by the component City/Municipality of destination within this Province shall govern and should be followed.
In relation to this, the Municipality of General Luna’s protocols for Surigao Del Norte Residents and Government APOR traveling via seaports and other points of entry will be based on the recent issuance of the League of Municipalities - Siargao Chapter’s Resolution No. 02, Series of 2021.

IATF DISALLOWS DOMESTIC LEISURE TRAVEL FROM MARCH 22 TO APRIL 4
The Inter-Agency Task Force against infectious diseases (IATF) has temporarily suspended tourist/leisure between Metro Manila and domestic points in the Philippines.
As such, passengers traveling for leisure will not be allowed on PAL domestic flights to/from Manila from March 22 to April 4.
Leisure travelers affected by these restrictions have the following options:
1. Convert your ticket to a travel voucher with 10% bonus and valid for up to 2 years, which must be requested on or before June 30, 2021.
2. Avail of unlimited rebooking (no rebooking fee) until December 31, 2021. If you will be completing your travel in the same booking class by June 30, 2021 (or ticket validity, whichever comes first), there will be no fare difference charge.
3. Refund your ticket without penalties.
If you are already in a domestic destination and wish to return home, you may do so during this period.
If you are an ROF LSI or APOR, PAL will accept you on flights, provided that you secure all requirements by your LGU. If you wish to make changes to your booking voluntarily, you may do so following the No-Worry Flight Fare rules at https://bit.ly/PALPassengerOptions

Section 1. Mandatory Travel Protocols and Requirements in Siargao Island Airport and Surigao City Airport (whether commercial, chartered or private flights)
1. FOR SURIGAO DEL NORTE RESIDENTS:
a. Negative Result on RT-PCR Test or Negative Result on COVID-19 Saliva Test taken within forty eight (48) hours or two (2) days from the date of release of the result
b. Valid Identification Card or any proof of residency in Surigao del Norte
2. FOR GOVERNMENT APOR:
a. Negative Result on RT-PCR Test or Negative Result on COVID-19 Saliva Test taken within forty eight (48) hours or two (2) days from the date of release of the result;
b. Valid Identification Card
c. Travel/Mission Order issued by the Chief of Office
3. FOR NON-RESIDENT PRIVATE APOR:
a. Negative Result on RT-PCR Test or Negative Result on COVID-19 Saliva Test taken within forty eight (48) hours or two (2) days from the date of release of the result
b. Valid Identification Card

c. Travel Certification issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of destination (within the Province of Surigao del Norte)
5. FOR TOURISTS NOT INVITED BY LOCAL RESIDENT OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE (WALK-IN TOURISTS):
a. Negative Result on RT-PCR Test or Negative Result on COVID-19 Saliva Test taken within forty eight (48) hours or two (2) days from the date of release of the result
b. Valid Identification Card
c. Confirmed Booking of Accommodation for at least two (2) nights from the resort, hotel or hostel duly accredited by the Department of Tourism

1. FOR SURIGAO DEL NORTE RESIDENTS AND GOVERNMENT APORs:
The protocols and requirements issued by the component City/Municipality of destination within this Province shall govern and should be followed.
2. FOR NON-RESIDENT PRIVATE APOR AND TOURISTS NOT INVITED BY LOCAL RESIDENT OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE (WALK-IN TOURISTS):
a. Negative Result on RT-PCR Test or Negative Result on COVID-19 Saliva Test taken within forty eight (48) hours or two (2) days from the date of release of the result
b. Valid Identification Card
c. Confirmed Booking of Accommodation for at least two (2) nights from the resort, hotel or hostel duly accredited by the Department of Tourism.
3. FOR TOURISTS INVITED BY LOCAL RESIDENT OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE:
a. Negative Result on RT-PCR Test or Negative Result on COVID-19 Saliva Test taken within forty eight (48) hours or two (2) days from the date of release of the result;
b. Valid Identification Card; and
c. Travel Certification issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of destination (within the Province of Surigao del Norte).
***If the travel is by sea, the aforementioned documentary requirements shall be presented upon boarding at the port of origin and upon arrival to this Province. On the other hand, if the travel is by land, the aforementioned documentary requirements shall be presented upon demand at any of the checkpoints within this Province.

2. Valid Identification Card

4. Confirmed booking of accommodation for at least 2 nights from the resort, hotel or hostel duly accredited by the Department of Tourism
The aforementioned travel requirements shall be presented upon boarding at the airport/port of origin or upon demand at any of the checkpoints within the Province, and upon arrival to this Province.
The requirement of Post/Antigen Testing on all tourists arriving to this Province after 7 days from the date of arrival is also hereby LIFTED. All tourists arriving to this Province shall no longer be required to be tested with antigen test after their respective dates of arrival to this Province.
