🚨 Important Update for Disney Travelers!

Disney has updated the wording on its Disability Access Service (DAS) program webpage. Previously, the description stated that DAS was “intended to accommodate only those Guests who, due to a developmental disability like autism or similar, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period of time.” The word “only” has now been removed, which could expand access to this service.

Here’s what you need to know:
✨ Guests interested in DAS must participate in a live video chat with a Cast Member to determine eligibility. This can be done up to 30 days before your trip.
✨ If approved, DAS is valid for 240 days or the length of your ticket (whichever is shorter).
✨ The DAS party can include the registered guest plus up to three additional members.

To make your trip as smooth as possible, Disney encourages guests with disabilities to use resources on their accessibility webpage. You’ll find helpful tips like accessing attraction queues with mobility aids and more!

Disneyland Resort is bringing exciting enhancements to its hotels, with new experiences and fresh updates to delight guests. The upcoming changes include redesigned guest rooms, expanded dining options, and immersive themed suites inspired by Pixar favorites.

Napa Rose Restaurant Redesign:
The award-winning Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will receive an elegant makeover inspired by California’s wine heritage. The redesigned space will feature reclaimed French oak, artisan metals, and deep cabernet hues, along with an expanded exhibition kitchen and enhanced outdoor patio seating. Napa Rose will temporarily close this spring and reopen in fall 2025 with a new menu while retaining fan-favorite dishes like the Smiling Tiger Salad.

New Concierge Lounges:
The Disneyland Hotel will introduce the High Key Club, a stylish concierge lounge celebrating the music of Disneyland’s early years, offering a vibrant mid-century modern aesthetic and a prime fireworks viewing spot. Meanwhile, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will add a second concierge lounge, inspired by California’s majestic sequoia trees, featuring a two-story design with stunning natural light and artistic details. The Grand Californian’s lounge is set to open in 2026.

Room Refurbishments:
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will refresh its guest rooms with bold new colors, inspired by California wildflowers and the Arts and Crafts movement. New artwork by local plein air painters will be featured throughout the rooms, enhancing the immersive ambiance.

Pixar Place Hotel Themed Suites:
New themed suites will debut at Pixar Place Hotel this summer, featuring designs based on Coco and The Incredibles. The Coco Suite will showcase Oaxacan-inspired décor, artisan crafts, and a warm family atmosphere, while The Incredibles Suite will offer a spy-fi adventure with hidden features and surprises straight from the Parr family’s world.
