We are thrilled and excited to have had the opportunity to take over Explore Pelee from Anne Marie who has spent over a decade organically cultivating this wonderful business which serves visitors and residents of Pelee Island.
We are anticipating supplying the same services except for the cottage rental portion of Explore Pelee.
As we transition into the 2019 season our objective is to seamlessly maintain service levels previously provided.

Explore Pelee would like to thank everyone for their support over the last 11 years. To our great staff, loyal customers, suppliers, long-term clients, as well as, the many one-time clients for the past 11 seasons on Pelee Island and across Windsor and Essex County. We've grown from biking tours to island tours to property managing, to weekend eco-adventures, to being Canada's most southern taxi company, to environmental school field trips, to Rickshaw rides/rentals, to bicycle rentals, to women's retreats both locally and internationally, to growing a community of like-minded entrepreneurs in the LIFT series communities while gathering at local wineries and craft breweries. Also, sitting on the Pelee Island Art Works Board of Directors, South Western Ontario Tourism Corporation Board, as well as, the Pelee Island Tourism Committee. So many amazing moments to recount.
Alas the tides have changed and it's time for us to move on. We are excited to announce that Explore Pelee is for sale and hope it transitions smoothly into a new potential owner who will love Pelee Island as much as we did!
These impactful experiences gained at Explore Pelee has been led itself into new career adventures.
This is not goodbye to Pelee Island, only a see you this summer on the boat, at the winery or at the beach catching a sunrise or sunset! It was a life long dream to live and work on Pelee Island and a piece of my heart will always be on Pelee Island. The season is winding down, but it’s certainly not over! We’re looking forward to seeing you on Pelee Island this long weekend! What does a perfect day on Pelee Island look like? Well, it would start off with one of our excellent island tours, of course! They are 1.5 hours in length and show you the vast majority of the island. Our tour might make you thirsty so you’ll probably want to hydrate at the Pelee Island Winery or Stone House 1891 (their new beer is Amazing!)
The fun doesn’t end there though... you may want to check out Pelee Island Charters for kayak rentals or even a zodiac boat tour around the island (that’s how we got this beauty photo)
Hungry? Fill up at one of the island’s restaurants, ice cream stands, or even the bakery (yum).
Spend the evening strolling the beaches, checking out some of the live music, or watching the sunset from the west shore or from the ferry on your way home.
And remember, no matter what you decide to do here, know that we will be happy to support you with taxi services, advice, information, and high-fives! We want you to love Pelee Island as much as we do - have a safe and fun long weekend!
We do tours everyday, but they always tend to be a little unique in their own ways. This was a very lucky group who all found Lucky Stones during our beach stop! Maybe they went home and bought lottery tickets 🤔 Do we get a cut if they win? 🤔
Monarchs have been trickling in for a while, but we’re starting to see them in more volume now; come see them before they take off for their migration to Mexico 🇲🇽
