Our ship docked in the beautiful port of Messina, Sicily, offering a day filled with diverse experiences for our group. While some of us explored the city's rich religious heritage, visiting its stunning churches and cathedrals, others embarked on an exhilarating hike up Mount Etna!
In Messina, our history buffs were treated to architectural wonders like the Norman-style Messina Cathedral with its impressive astronomical clock, and the Church of the Santissima Annunziata dei Catalani, showcasing a blend of Norman and Arabic influences.
Meanwhile, the adventurers among us conquered Europe's highest active volcano, Mount Etna! We hiked through lunar-like landscapes, marveled at ancient lava flows, and were rewarded with breathtaking views of the Sicilian coastline.

They enjoyed highlights like the ancient Ggantija Temples, the scenic views from the Citadel in Victoria, and the stunning beaches of Ramla Bay. What an exhilarating day we had in Olympia! Several people took tours to explore the ruins. Afterwards, our group gathered at the iconic race track on the Norwegian Prima, where the thrill of competition was in the air. We kicked off our private racing tournament, and congratulations to Macey Roy for winning the first race and Erika Commisso took home the victory in the second race! 🏆
It was a fantastic way to bond with fellow travelers while enjoying the unique experience of racing at sea.

Our adventure included the majestic Acropolis, where we marveled at the stunning Parthenon, a true masterpiece of ancient architecture. The breathtaking views from the top were simply unforgettable!
We visited the historic Kallimarmaro Stadium, the site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Walking through this incredible venue was a fantastic way to connect with Greece's rich sporting history.
Every moment in Athens was filled with awe and inspiration as we delved into its ancient heritage. Athens is definitely a city that could use 4-5 days to explore...added to the list!
