Let's talk MagicBand+!!

I get asked all the time if MagicBands are really necessary...while you don't NEED them they are super convenient and I personally would not go on a Disney vacation without them.

So here's the low down:
✨Use it to enter the parks and scan into Lightning Lane entrances
✨Unlock your Disney Resort room (Walt Disney World only) and Disney Cruise Line stateroom
✨Charge food and merchandise (Walt Disney World only)
✨Interact with nightly and entertainment experiences

MagicBands come in a variety of styles and colours, solid (like mine - classic red for Mickey ♥️) or in fun and festive designs featuring your favourite Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel characters.

Unfortunately for us here in Canada we can't pre-order our MagicBands. But if you're interested in having one for your vacation you can check out the gift shop if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, World of Disney in Downtown Disney in California or Disney Springs in Florida (for the best selection), or you can purchase them right in the parks! They're easy to set up and quickly link to the Disneyland app, or My Disney Experience App. And if you're onboard a Disney Cruise Ship visit Guest Services and they'll link it to your Navigator app.

If you plan on heading to Disney often then a MagicBand+ is definitely worth it as it can be used across all the parks and on the sea 🌊

I'm so excited for the first ever "Coco" attraction coming to Disney's California Adventure Park! Construction is slated to begin in 2026 so it'll still be awhile before we can enjoy what is sure to be an amazing addition to the park. Yet another exciting attraction to look forward to!

I cannot wait for this enhancement to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run coming to both Disney Parks. I'm a massive Grogu fan (see the pic of our Grogu family in the comments 😆 ) and I'm also a massive fan of this ride!

So far I've only ever been the pilot, which I already know I prefer (control issues over here, lol!) but it truly is the best role if you're a major Star Wars fan ⭐️

A little bit about me…

I’m a mom of 2 boys, a self-proclaimed Disnerd, and have had a lifelong passion for travel and exploring the world. To me life is all about experiences and making memories. When I’m not planning and selling travel I’m going to concerts - music is my other passion 🎶

💍I got engaged in St. Lucia and married in Mexico. We’ve taken both our boys to Disneyland when they were very little - all core memories!

I’ve been fortunate to travel to some pretty exciting places around the world. From India to Italy, Mexico & the Caribbean, Vegas to the Canadian Rockies.

It’s not just the destination to consider but the style in which you travel as well. I’ve experienced and planned out city stays, all-inclusive beach escapes, cruising, and guided coach touring.

More recently I’ve chosen to focus on my main passion which is experiencing and selling Disney Destinations. With multiple trips to Disneyland and Walt Disney World, recently sailing on the Disney Magic and Disney Wish, and probably my favourite trip of all…Costa Rica with Adventures by Disney!

So far I’m beyond impressed with Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point! The beach is absolutely stunning and the water ultra refreshing 💦

Another fabulous day here in Walt Disney World!

Started out with a tour of the Disney Wish 🚢
It was so wonderful to be back on board again and explore this stunning ship even further.

Then went for a quick visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and eventually hopped over to EPCOT to take in more of the Flower & Garden Festival and to take advantage of extended evening hours, which are available on select nights for guests staying onsite at a Deluxe Resort.

I highly recommend doing Journey of Water in the evening, it’s even more stunning and magical 😍

We’ve officially kicked off our adventure with Team Enchanted!
Had a quick visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom…
🦒 Rode Kilimanjaro Safari: the animals were really out and about, it was a great ride!
🍽️ Ate at Satu’li Canteen: highly recommend adding this to your Quick Service dining list (the cheeseburger Bao buns are delicious 😋)
✨Rode Avatar: Flight of Passage: amazing and breathtaking as always!

Then headed over to EPCOT for a delicious team dinner at Biergarten located in the German Pavilion. (I especially loved it as my grandmother’s German and it reminded me of the meals she would prepare while I was growing up)…a truly authentic and delightful experience!
After dinner we watched Luminous: A Symphony of Us 🎇 followed by a final ride on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure - so cute 🥰

It feels great to be with this amazing team in person and share in these experiences together. All the while updating our knowledge and value we can provide to our guests.

Walt Disney World offers so much: rides, endless dining options, entertainment, and characters. What’s your favourite part?

It's 🎃

Today Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets went on sale for on-site guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. I've been hard at work securing tickets for all of my guests visiting during this specially themed event.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on May 15th.
The Halloween season kicks off at Walt Disney World on Aug. 9th!

📣 TRIP ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

I'm excited to share that in just one week I'll be back in my favourite place exploring the Walt Disney World Resort!

But first I'll be spending a couple of nights at Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort, where I'll have the chance to get reacquainted with Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure...and I'm super excited to experience Volcano Bay waterpark for the very first time!

Then it's on to the Walt Disney World Resort for the next 5 nights where I'll be staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge 🦒 and Disney's Art of Animation Resort (in a Lion King themed Family Suite 🦁 ).

I'll be traveling with some of my colleagues from Enchanted Vacations. So be sure to follow along as we explore the following:

🏨 Resort tours of many on-site Disney properties (including all 3 Monorail resorts!)

TIP: if you're like me and suffer from motion sickness here's my tried and true hack...

Aside from the typical motion sickness remedies such as Gravol, pressure point bands, ect...I swear by eating Granny Smith apples 🍏 There's actually an antioxidant in the skin that helps relieve motion sickness!

If you're nervous about cruising or are looking for something new to try give this a go and let me know how it works for you....you know what they say..."an apple a day"
