Encountering game on the roadway was our biggest safety concern on the trip. I can't count how many animals we saw. In planning our route, I was extra careful to make sure we were never on the road in the dark. This is exactly why. And we drove on this very road. I remember the "caution moose" signs very well. So scary ....

Early-morning Wednesday, one man died following a single vehicle collision with a moose, along the Glenn Highway.
