Just looking back at old photos and our holiday to Mauritius was still one of our favourite holidays even though I ended up in a Mauritian clinic at the end of the holiday.
My favourite accommodation with a stunning outdoor bathroom at @trouauxbichesbeachcomber and Gold Medal for being so helpful amending our flights when we were not fit to fly.
This was the first time my daughter did water skiing which she loved with kids club. Dancing on the beach. Older children zip lining at Casella and me feeding giraffes. That was definitely one from my bucket list.

During May half term I went to the beautiful city of Salzburg to do the Sound of Music tour. Honestly I can really say I loved it as this was one of my favourite childhood films.
I do hope to return one day as my little girl was poorly with tonsillitis when we were there so we ended up in the hotel room a lot more than I had hoped to.
Honestly I would highly recommend it. I will share on a future post of how easy it is to do to help others have a great experience.

Final few hours by the pool before going to the airport home.
I had a lovely date afternoon at Milton Keynes theatre yesterday to watch Pretty Women the musical. I actually booked this February last year so got really good seats so second row which is quite good on the leg room in the stalls. The only problem with an aisle seat is getting in and out for people to walk in and out.
I love this theatre as it’s an easy drive and we don’t need to stay over in London or rely on the trains!
The hardest thing was actually paying for the car parking. Card machine reader broken then it wouldn’t take cash. Downloaded an app to pay for parking only to say there is no car park located here. Turns out that was a previous companies car parking. Eventually downloaded another app and that worked. Last time I got a great spot yet there is road works on the road in front of the theatre meaning traffic so this time parked near the ski dome.
Anyway this show was lovely. My 10 year old asked why we weren’t taking her and I said it’s not really for kids. I was right there was a couple of bits which we could have been questioned on so all was good!

I found it hard when I was going to Gran Canaria to find out what some of the benefits was for Unique rooms in the Lopesan Baobab. Hopefully this video will help people if they are wishing to stay at the property.
They do have a dedicated reserved swimming pool and sunbed area yet we didn’t use that as we had our own plunge pool plus my daughter made a friend who she wanted to play with in the main pool. So this isn’t included in my reel.

Sharing a little video of my day out at Burghley House Christmas fair.
I have never been before and was quite an easy drive for us. They had lots of food stalls and a wide variety of things you could buy as Christmas presents. It obviously has lots of people who go there who would normally go for the horsey events it runs. Lots of people dressed in their hats, tweed jackets and knee length boots.
It was nice, it was dry and not muddy yet I do recon later in the weekend it would have definitely been muddier. Tickets do sell out particularly over the weekend as it literally operates for a few days every year.
If you want to get in the festive spirit at the end of November next year I definitely recommend popping along.

This was a family cruise science experiment activity they held in the kids club area during our cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas. They invited us to learn about volcanos and did this once to show us as per the video.
I was a bit naive I went in thinking we were all going to have a go at making a volcano. They did give us the instructions to take away with us though incase the child wanted to have a go recreating it back at home.

It’s the start of concert season again in our household. Last night eldest daughters choice of Harry Styles!
In fairness we went to Coventry for the concert and what I liked was that it’s a smaller venue to say Wembley so there actually isn’t a bad seat when you think about it. Do bear that in mind when you book tickets to a show as I have sat right in the gods at Wembley before.
The toilets were very much football stadium toilets though!
Also when did merchandise become so expensive? £75 for a tour hoodie is a lot in my eyes yet people were queuing up for them.
We left just before the end and ran to the car which meant we were one of the first ones out. I had dreaded this. We had such a speedy journey home until we had a junction to A14 closed off yet still in before midnight which was fabulous.
Anyway here is a snippet of Harry to watch. You may like it or may not. It definitely wasn’t my favourite concert yet a pleasant experience.
This isn’t exactly Coldplay yet this was the entertainment one evening at the Iberostar Malaga Playa hotel that I stayed at recently.
If you have ever been to an Iberostar property you will more than likely recognise this song!

This was St Lucia airport yesterday. We didn’t have any queues whilst we were there.
Everyone who enters the airport is temperature checked on arrival.
You must wear your face mask throughout unless you are eating or drinking.
Shops etc were open as normal yet you do have to realise it’s a Caribbean airport with not so many facilities compared to other destinations. I don’t actually think there was much difference from when I travelled there many years ago.
