How many of us have frequented the old Rose and Crown 😊 soon to reopen as The Elephant and Castle ?

I have had a few great experiences in this place... including the basement where the old embalming/ draining trays were still in place and a reporter swore he saw a young boy with a blue balloon hanging out and asked the reporter what he was doing. He was a bit shook when I told him he was down there alone....

Or the the upstairs room where the family resided when it was a funeral home... still gives me goosebumps....

A good excuse to do your own "research" once it reopens

Headed to YouthLink for a presentation on The Rogues Gallery. Stayed out of jail ...kinda...and learnt some fun facts about our penal system.

This was Adults only (Thank you) so drinks and snacks were available.

Sadly...I didn't get to use the handcuffs or get a ride home with SWAT.

One of the stores you'll hear on our downtown tour is about the Madam from Pleasure Island who still occupied the old jail cell area.
